Is the nav bar across the top, or across the bottom, of the page feasible Chief?

You still get the nav bar, it's still visible for just as long, and the page isn't squashed.

You can bring it back yourself.

Just go to the bottom left where the drop down bar is. Click on then and select Big Footy (Old). Voila, there is the old layout.

That didn't say anything specifically about the sidebar. I took it more to be about the colour etc.

ManWithNoName just did though, so there's one. Still a large majority seem to dislike it.

Just a cunning plan to get people to sign up for BFSC by putting something really annoying on the side that you can only get rid of if you do sign up? Sneaky, Chief.

Does it really impede you from using the site? If not, whats the whinge about, you will get used to it soon enough...

It tracks what forum you are in. It also remembers whatever other part of it you manually opened.

Adblock plus blocking the ads and the nav bar doesn't affect anything on my 20 inch screen

The nav bar and ads are a killer on the iphone though.

Too many posts to read through them all. I am struggling to understand what the new thread icons mean, and specifically, which threads I have posted in. Are the last two icons the ones I have posted in?

I'm guessing yellow is hot (Lots of posts). White is not hot (Not many posts) and a closed envelope is no new posts. Dots are ones you've posted in.

The last two have that dot, which means you've posted in them.

Grey/white envelope means <20 (I think) posts in that thread. Yellow means >20 (or whatever the number is) posts.

20 seems rather arbitrary.

A 20 post thread in AFL isn't much.

A 20 post thread in Fishing is huge.

But yeah, it does look like the dot or hole signifies that I have posted.

I reckon there are two many thread icons.

If you expand the "My BigFooty" section it'll list all your Subscribed forums.

with regards to subscribed forums, earlier this year i mentioned a bug with my profile that might be a remnant of earlier software.

any chance you could have a look at this? can it be fixed?

basically, i seem to be subscribed to the whole Not Footy Related forum and there appears to be no way to unsubscribe
