Though i guess Geelong does have an obligation to ensure the the eagles dont get Kelly on the cheap. He will make the eagles much stronger and that is probably a factor in Geelong's stance on the matter. Better he go to freo where he wont help them win anything than him going to WC and helping them to a flag.

There is a big chance that there is no deal and that Kelly walks for nothing next year. He won't go to Freo because there are people there he doesn't care for. I can't see the deal working this year which is good for Richmond.
