There is one.No doubt the AFL will introduce something because of this. Another North initiative.
A red light or something by the bench that turns on and can be seen by all on the ground that no more changes can be made.
And please just ignore Dane Rampe stepping outside the interchange box.So, apparently Shiels or Phillips could have come back on! Eh, close enough. Don't worry about technicalities on that one!
The AFL are picking & choosing when they can make it up to save face! I think I'd somehow feel better if they admitted that they made a mistake and it had to be Phillips that came back on OR another free & 50 to the Swans. But we can't have that. "Close enough" is good enough when it suits them.
It might need new batteries or something cause dont think it works. There is one.
A monitor that counts the interchanges, and changes colour when you get close, I think with 10 to go. The AFL interchange steward also verbally warns with 10, 5 and 1 to go.
The counter going to 76 is what alerted Dane Rampe, who can be seen on the bench footage jumping up off the Sydney bench.
Never made a mistake at work dude? Come on.So we were warned? So who got the sack at North for this fugg up that probably cost us the game?
Not one this costly - no. Amateurs.Never made a mistake at work dude? Come on.
Putting aside that people don't lose their jobs over one-off errors, you know for sure all the variables in that situation could have been controlled? Not one this costly - no. Amateurs.
Sack the incompetents who cost us a game. I'm over accepting second rate efforts. They have to be sacked today. Any other choice shows what a soft hugging club we have become. Make an example of the fool/s. Maybe even consider a public flagellation.Putting aside that people don't lose their jobs over one-off errors, you know for sure all the variables in that situation could have been controlled?
As shiels approaches the sideline wincing you're sure the bench knew he wasn't considered an injury?
Pretty inconsiderate. Mistakes happen sometimes. You improve and move on.
It was annoying at the time but we weren't actually robbed. Once again our use of the ball robbed us of what could have been a good win.It has to be discussed and investigated. Do all interchanges up to that point that are a result of injury count to the 75? I.e George’s head knock etc.?
TBF Clarko usually kept track of it…..Sack the incompetents who cost us a game. I'm over accepting second rate efforts. They have to be sacked today. Any other choice shows what a soft hugging club we have become. Make an example of the fool/s. Maybe even consider a public flagellation.
Thinking the same, we trade with West CoastFunnily enough it might've just got us Harley Reid.
Bloke goes into Arden St on Monday morning to provide data that there were only 73 interchanges made.So we were warned? So who got the sack at North for this fugg up that probably cost us the game?
Yes that should turn our fortunes around.Sack the incompetents who cost us a game. I'm over accepting second rate efforts. They have to be sacked today. Any other choice shows what a soft hugging club we have become. Make an example of the fool/s. Maybe even consider a public flagellation.
Yes fair enough however I really do think the ratio of free kicks that resulted in goals to swans v goals to us would reveal a one sided affair and the thing that really f ing annoys me is that most of these are 50/50 in contested situations, AFL is a contact sport, the default positions where players are 'infringing' upon each other in a contested ball situation should be to either play on or ball up. Awarding a free kick to the opposition forward inside 50mtr arc should only be for clear one sided deliberate infringements where there is no doubt otherwise the result of the game can be unfairly skewed. As I said in another post I did see Goldy speak to the main umpire right at half time and whatever he had to say definitely had an impact, the umpiring was far more consistent in the second half.Or if the Swans didn't miss a bunch of sodas in the first half.
We f***ed up, pure and simple. Time to move on.
Just stop it, please. You don’t know what happened and even if it was a mistake the person who made it shouldn’t be made to feel worse. There shouldn’t be more repercussions any more than blaming an individual player for a costly error. So we were warned? So who got the sack at North for this fugg up that probably cost us the game?
Ya reckon knee jerk reactions are good for the culture ay? That's neatSack the incompetents who cost us a game. I'm over accepting second rate efforts. They have to be sacked today.
