KOTY.

The Bees keep rolling on! Good to hear LMac tore it up again. Could be bid on for pick 1-7 if opposition recruiters are happy to look past his drinking and gambling problem ;) :p

And his breaking and entering conviction.

So, out of about 8-9 games I've seen Luke play, this one has got me the most excited. I get the feeling that this kid is also going to be suited a lot more to AFL level, his natural instinct appears to be to play behind play, and that's a lot better suited to the AFL game where the pressure leads to a lot more disposal going backwards.

And how was the goal from the square!! and the run from the middle where he took a few on! and the kick from the backline that went about 80m! or a couple of those pin point passes to the top of the 50! How he didn't get in the bests bemuses me, either way super excited for him to wear the blue and white in round one.

+1

I was actually most impressed with his handballing today. Showed his class with the footy today which was the only thing lacking last week. BOG.

Also thought Siera was very good.

Kennedy was very good with ball in hand as well. Trails his opponent too often unfortunately.

Gys is gone.

Currie was OK against the bigger man in Gawn (holy **** what about some of his **** ups?!). Didn't like seeing his lack of intensity chasing in the last. I know he's big and the game was dead but it's not good enough. Especially when he'd been getting a fair chopout from Sullivan all day.

Appreciate that roomy. Looking at the 3 of Kennedy, Sirra, and Gysberts, who looks least likely to have a future with us, from watching their VFL form?
Kennedy looks great going forward with ball in hand; not so good one on one with his man; Gysberts is a statue on the outside, but competes on the inside; Sirra works hard as a link man, but can make a howler - so none of them complete players, but kennedy's been on the list for so long and not got a game (admitting gys only played for melbourne - I can't see why we would trade for him and let him go after one season)

Luke's a little like Hodge, can hit a bullet, can kick it like a mule, but can also shank them sometimes. Like Hodge, it's his decision making that is elite, not just his good kicking, when you couple them together, he cuts teams apart at times.

Beat me too it Pykie. More than a little like Hodge, but with speed.

Also, on Currie, whilst it wasn't his most dominant game today his aggression and work rate around the contest was superb again. I'm stumped how anyone who watches him regularly still can't see his AFL abilities.

Cheers. Would seem strange to let Gysberts go after a season, but it seems 2 of the 3 of them will go. I wonder if Kennedy has suffered playing in a side with a shortage of tall defenders leaving him in a role he isn't suited to. He sounds more like the Hawk's Birchall type than Gibson, but has filled a need for the Bees. Apart from Harpers drop in form, Kennedy's inability to kick on has been this years biggest frustration for me.

Essentially agree on the bold , but think he has all the attributes of a very good back flanker.

McDonald was sensational yesterday & had me thinking any talk of us letting him slide on our first round is ludicrous.

Ben Ross is still a class act too and to me looks a completely different player to the quick outside mid that was running around at North. His game is very nicely rounded out these days as he's become strong and creative inside the contest and he still has the pace & solid ball use on the outside. His creativity was on show, with him be responsible for several plays that resulted in Werribee goals & his influence was telling when the game was there to be won in the third quarter.

Would make a solid depth AFL mid still and I hope somebody drafts him.

He'd make a perfect wingman at Melbourne or doggies

I thought Tim was terrific yesterday. Hate to say it, but he might be the next Levi, (in BS eyes).

McGenniss? Tough to rate his game. It was a very, very hard tag and Magner had 31 touches without really damaging. TMac has certainly been thrown around in different roles this year to educate him.

a "manic?" footballer is how I see him, very much like Levi.
