Yes indeed. I'm starting to like what I see of all the squads. Subiaco look very weak though. South look good, East Perth good, Perth good. This is going to be a tight season. Maybe the Monts wont have it all their own way for a change.

Knowing the zones West Perth and Subi players will have a meal together at the Breakwater and then fight it out on the field later on. Subi don't have a very good squad in my view but we'll see.

Well my man we must consider a lot of Claremont's best futures are busy playing cricket, chess and lawn bowls while studying the stock market, visiting Cottesloe Beach and trying not to put on kilos with those top notch PSA chefs....it can't be easy

Our boy Angus Abbonizio didn't play in the WAFL Futures round 1, Hope he hasn't gave it up.

Yeah, he isn't named in the Subi colts side either. Perhaps he still has cricket commitments for his WACA club Scarborough. I imagine cricket is a priority as he made the WA state U/17 squad this year as a below ager. So that's two sports, two state teams as a below ager. Not too shabby.

I am confused by some of these Colts teams. East Fremantle in particular is missing a lot of the older boys (Hussey, Sander, Hooker) and others (Boniwell, Scott, Hancy) are in the Reserves side . Do we think this is just for preseason?

No don’t believe any relation but he’s an incredible player to watch.

As the score suggests SF looked very good. Subi looked very undersized & young. Robbo the beast was very good as were all the SF mids. New ruck Byron Foster from SF was dominant.

I've woken up in the middle of the night in a state of panic. How can there be this many new 2025 draft age players included in the colts scratchies. I don't know who most of them are. Why are so many players in one age group? Look folks, we have serious work to do here to re-arrange this top 50
