Haven't read the rest of this thread, can only assume it's crap, but as far as I'm concerned West Coast can lose both derbies every year as long as they are winning premierships. Bragging rights over Freo are nice, but the big silver cup is what we really want.

But really...... They LOST quite a few quarters of Football for the Home and Away Season last year(2006)..Some against bottom eight sides..

The Kangaroos, Geelong, Carlton(at Subi) Hawthorn even Essendon come to mind where the Eagles looked the losers but came in the last quarter... through individual performances....
Not to mention the Hiding they got from Freo..and Collingwood.

I Predict that with the GF win, they will have a little of the big head syndrome or the let the other team mate do it..and finish OUT OF THE TOP FOUR for the 2007 Season...

I Honestly think their 2005 Performance as a Team was better that their 2006 Performance..

To definitively say we are at the start of a dynasty is arrogant and way, way premature, agreed. To say we have a list that is capable of challenging for a premiership for the next three maybe four years is not. If we are able to win another two in that time, which is possible although maybe not probable, then we could rightly claim to have been a dynasty. Therefore it is not ridiculously arrogant to have the "idea" of a dynasty.

Freo won the last two games against WC (one by less than a goal mind you) this does not mean you have WC measure next year anymore than saying WC won the GF this year so we will win it next year as well.

Your list may be improved next year which it has to be if you want to go further than fourth but its a stretch to say it is greatly improved. Tarrant does improve your forward line and a fit Hasleby will help your mids, but Longmuir is no longer your best ruckman and he is not your best forward so will have less game time and less impact. Hadrill is no guarantee to return anywhere near his best given the injuries he has sustained and may only be a shadow af his former self.
