Eagles by a country mile! (if it was a long distance marathon on the outskirts of Whyalla?)

Well I spent the last two days in hospital getting my appendix removed. I hope this game hurts a bit less.

Just hope they continue to fight like they have been and no new injuries.
Gunna be hard to watch if Port start playing showtime footy.

if we could keep a side under 100 points at some stage this year would be great. Just don't think it's going to be today.
No chance today.

Another cracking day in SA

Cricket weather.... could be a cricket score unfortunately

Why is everyone so glum...We've got this!

Port have lost their big Dixon! Their big boy swagger is gone. They only have a tiny little willy up forward and given past indiscretions , is most likely impotent due to habitual drug abuse.

We've bought in the dark horse, late starter for the Brownlow - You know this much is Trew!!!
He'll replicate the Bont's lazy work from last night. A star is born!

Waterman is on fire an has a genuine, old-school big bag of 10 in him today.

The word BIG makes Port very uncomfortable at the moment, they all subconsciously cover their collective crotches when they hear the word. (It's amazing what the lost of a big Dixon will do!!!)

Then we unleash BIG Bailey Williams, the Port Ruck will Teakle himself in fear, then shrivel up in their forward pocket.
Butters will try and help, lube the situation if you will, but to be honest, their royally ****ed. Nothing will get them up, outcome is anything but Rozee.

We'll totally Barrass them today!!!

Carn everyone....WE"VE GOT THIS!!!!

Without the sheer size of Dixon pulling Barrass away I don’t see much in the Port forward line that will really put us to the sword.

I can see us limiting the damage to 40 odd.

Marshall always seems to do well against Barrass.

More worried about the non-key match-ups though. With the amount of ball that is likely to be in Port's forward half, Rioli and Powell-Pepper etc. will have ample opportunity to do damage today.

Port's midfield is a goal-kicking one and runs four quarters as hard as anyone as well.

Once things open up I don't see much that will be able to stop the bleeding.

So Bazzo is the sub which is a risky call you would think.

Seems to be a bit of a strategy this year as we did it with Rotham a few weeks ago too.

I guess it gives us flexibility if we are getting tanked to change the mix up and get another defensive tall in there to try stop the bleeding

I didn't expect be wearing shorts and a tee to the footy in April, but here we are. Beautiful day for a famous upset.

Yeah...Port are the kind of side to get a huge hard on for flogging a wounded opponent.

Might roll into a rewatch of the '07 grannie after we get destroyed.

Hopefully the boys keep the effort level where it has been. I can hack watching us get beaten if the team is putting in a shift.
Used to be that side. This will be closer than most people think. I’m expecting we turn up thinking we already won and your boys to be up at half time.

So at what point in the second quarter will Bailey Williams be going off with a popped hamstring tendon?

No Lycett or Dixon. Seemed a no brainer for a Barnett debut against Teakle and Finlayson but yet here we are.
