So the Weages plan to get a strangle hold of the WAFC has had a bit of a tumble. The West Coast stooge Andrew Lockyer got rolled by a lady bean counter from PwC, yep a partner from the most on the nose accounting firm in history. The WAFC prefers a PwC partner over a West Coast prodigy, things are really going down hill at Lathlain.
Lockyer, who played 78 games with the Eagles from 1987 to 1992 and 146 with East Fremantle, is a former senior West Perth and Sharks coach, assistant coach at Subiaco and also had two stints as State 18s coach, guiding the squad to a national title in 2009.
He told The West Australian he has multiple reasons for running but his immediate concerns were growing junior football numbers in the regions and helping to educate coaches.

So, what was Freo's excuse for being utter tripe this year?
Not many serious injuries and supposedly finished a 7 year rebuild.

Freo, unfortunately, will have the recorded history of being the ONLY team to not win an AFL GF .
WC will be remembered for their benevolent gesture to permanently give them one of theirs on loan.
Unfortunately this will still not make Freo fans happy.
