I am. It's been years of tactical tripe whilst constantly banging on about new gameplans etc.
Now we have what looks like a genuinely talented crop of kids that will be coming through, the last thing I want to see is them being indoctrinated into corralling and ignoring the middle of the ground and then spend the rest of the decade trying to get that out of them.

To be fair I lasted until half time to give him a chance to show something
Edwards tweaked his back in the warm up.
Ginbey's play reading and ability to get the ball have come on a long way in a short time. Had 1 great kick, a few others the same as usual. Close and to the right area but not quite to the right spot. A bit like Yeo in that his kicks hit an area normally rather than the exact spot you want. The rest of his game has come on a long way.
Gaff, Kelly, Xon, Hurn have been putrid.
Look fair to say we've been unlucky today gaiz, couple 50-50 ump calls go our way and we only lose by 8 goals.
It's hard to tell how hard some players are going during the preseason.
Dan Rich certainly went at half pace last night (at least I hope he did). Clearly shirked every one on one he had in front of him, and only put his body on the line once.
Lachie Neale rarely got out of second gear.

he was the first genuine ruck taken in the draft. He's a much better prospect than both at this stage to be a successful ruck imo.
