After a poor start to the year, the reigning premiers have hit form recently and will look to continue their winning ways against an Eagles team that again succumbed to a disappointing away loss last week. West Coast however have been flawless at home this season and will be looking for revenge after last year's close Elimination Final loss.

Key Match Ups:
Ruck
Nathan Vardy has been a handy pick up thus far for the Eagles, contributing 9.3 to cover the loss of Naitanui and Lycett, whilst Jonathan Giles, has only managed a disappointing 5.8 and is likely to find himself on the outside looking in. Meanwhile the Bulldogs last week went with Tom Boyd (2.1) and the undersized Lin Jong (1.0) but may be looking at bringing Tom Campbell (5.6) over West instead if he’s able to recover from an ankle injury.
Josh Kennedy v Fletcher Roberts/Marcus Adams
The AFL’s best KPF not named Tom Lynch, Lance Franklin, Taylor Walker or Matt Taberner has again been a star this season, with 8.6, however he will be looking to atone for a disappoint 1.2 last week. Roberts has starred this season with 10.1, enabling Marcus Adams to push forward and score 3.1 this season, though the Eagles taller forward line will probably force him to be moved back.
Marcus Bontempelli v Luke Shuey
Both midfield stars would be disappointed with their efforts this season, with both having been high scoring but hugely inefficient. The Bont has 10.10 this year while Shuey is at 15.15. Both will be looking for a huge night to get their 2017 going.
Prediction: It will be a close one, but I reckon after a tight start, the noise of affirmation will carry West Coast home 23 - 15, with 482,342 whingers in the main board thread.
