I think it's time to reassess how we judge Josh Hill. Used defensively for seemingly the majority of the game, starts plenty of centre bounces running from defensive 50. Might bob up for a few goals but seems to have a very deliberate role inside our defensive structure that drags him right out of our 50.

Not just Hill unfortunately the majority of the team have this problem ,we need to become a stronger tackling team overall If we want to be a genuine Finals chance and not just making up the numbers ..

My personal favourite is the little shimmy on the half back line with a couple of Dogs around him...he can do that because he is so good on either side. The 2 perfectly weighted handballs are just a joy, what football skills. Love that the crowd gasps in shock thinking 'WTF?' on the 2nd one, then sees it land in Duggan's hands perfectly.
A lot more Mitch highlights to come this year I think.

For me the game day thread is for throwing popcorn at the telly, pantomime stuff - get emotionally invested and boo and cheer.

The autopsy thread is where you go to analyse the game seriously to look at what we did well, where we got exposed and how the team might improve for next week.

Just because you don't agree with things doesn't give you the right to go slinging around insults at people giving an opinion in the heat of the moment... so I politely say go f*** yourself mate and I think the mods should send you a msg too as anyone else posting like that would enjoy a card but I'm sure the double standards around here will save your ass.

He kicked us into a GF in 2015. He was not good in the Grand Final, but our mids had approximately three touches on the day from which Kennedy could fashion a chance. 17 of 17 clubs would jump at the chance to sign Josh Kennedy.

16 teams miss the Grand Final every year. 17 teams don't win the flag. If your metric for success is purely based on whether you were the one team that won the flag every year, and all other 17 teams are therefore failures, you're going to endure a hard time as a sports fan.

You're entitled to your opinion on Kennedy but it's a stupid one. Sure he's had some poor games and the GF was one of them but he's performed pretty consistently and apart from his goal kicking was one of our better players on Friday night.

I'm open to trading him, depending what we get in return. I'm sure he has good currency around the league. But realistically it's not going to happen.

Have seen 2 games live this year and it's like " ffs Mitchell get rid of it.......ohhh, well, maybe just keep doing whatever it is you do" Looks like an old pensioner running around, everything is moving so fast around him but he refuses to be rushed, man is a freak. That's before we get to the 3 ridiculous marks he took on Friday night.

If anything saves his arse it'll be the fact that you didn't actually take any steps to bring it to a mod's attention, either by reporting it or tagging us. We don't read every post on the board. Especially in threads that should probably have been locked a few days ago.

Having said that, yes calling someone a "****ing idiot" is clearly unacceptable.
