It's funny how our injuries are hardly ever recognised. Some people already preparing the West Coast injury card when we have Zaharakis, Parish, Daniher and Ambrose missing.

Out: Dea, green, Brown
In: Clarke, Stewart, Francis

We were a couple of mods down against Brissy, luckily they didn’t bat too deep.

Will need to bring in one for this week!

Walls and Raz need to stay home more and apply some serious forward pressure. Sydney shown the blueprint. Forward pressure. They don’t like it, starve their defenders of time with the footy.
Stewart just attacked everything in the VFL could have kicked 4 but gave off 2 or 3 over the top.

FB : Francis hooker Saad
HB: McKenna Hurley Redman
C: McGrath Heppell guelfi
HF: Smith Stewart* Tipinguiti
FF: Stringer Mckernan Fantasia
Foll: Bellchambers Merrett Clarke*
Int: Myers Baguley Langford Goddard (just)

Don't mind those changes.
Would stick Smith on the wing and Guelfi as a defensive forward. Perhaps send him to Yeo.

VFL watchers - What's Frang like in the wet. If we're facing a rainy game, is it wise to go so tall down back?
Perhaps a game with McGrath/Saad/McKenna/Redman down back with Hurley and Hooker, and we bring another runner in, like Long.

Couldn’t agree more, he’s getting old and frankly think his ‘special’ comments are more of the obvious or senile kind anyway.

Hasn't played in the wet so far this year but IIRC in the past few he's been okay, around the same level as in the dry

Dylan Clarke got on the plane.

I'd assume all 26 in the squad would, given that VFL plays Sunday.

Rumour is Kennedy has a fractured ankle out for 6.

Kennedy was on the radio yesterday and said himself it was a cork. We doubt he's lying.

Injury report also came out from St John of God (our reliable news source for injuries), and he wasn't listed on it.

If it is a broken ankle then the club is jumping through major hoops to hide it.

Finals shouldn’t really be the target anymore, it’s mathematically possible, but it’s statistically close to impossible.

Our fixture is tougher second half too.

Just settling on a strong best 22 and playing the best footy we can should be the goal.
I don't agree. The math is kind of irrelevant, the issue is form and ceiling. Our recent form has been slowly improving (I thought Brisbane were pretty good), and our ceiling is up there with the contenders. That means there is nothing stopping us having a really good second half of the season. Sure it's more likely that we fall away again, but i think there is a fallacy in extrapolating from one half of a season and presuming the outcome. Winning 7 games out of 9 is perfectly achievable for a good side in good form.
