AFLW pet hate -- umpires won't pay holding the ball, players just sit on it because they know they won't get pinged, you get 500 stoppages in the game. AFLW games would be so much better if players know they have to get rid of it because the umpires are white hot./end rant.

Yep, our best players barely played, barely saw Swanny and Hooker, but we looked really good in the middle when all our stars were on. Add Charlie to that, plus Courtney will get better as the season goes.Good signs there!

Bella BNF Lewis didn't do much after that big hit early on either.
Bowen is just consistently impressive, out-works her opponent and does a lot of hard stuff for her size.
A few of the older girls in Caufield, Aitken and Collier had a good crack today too. Think they're all still best 22 this year.
