Ant Bear is a great of our game and has done a mountain of work for this league.

I remember after a period of activity, AB was the first opposition poster to welcome me back into the fold and make me feel welcome.

Dropping him for a prelim just to manufacture publicity is ridiculous and disrespectful.

Dropping him for a prelim based on nothing but manufacturing publicity is ridiculous and disrespectful.
This is incorrcect.

It has been discussed at length in the LG for some time now. It is not about publicity, but lack of effort and connection. AB himself has stated as such.

100% agree that he's a great of our game and has done a mountain of work for this league as he will (hopefully) continue to do.

Perhaps you should read the OP and then ask the questions that need to be asked to the Wonders LG rather than jumping to conclusions.

Dropping AB has been in discussions for many weeks now, before the finals had even started.

It has been a fractured relationship with the Wonders for some time now and that fracture never healed, unfortunately for all of us.

If AB wants to play, this is ridiculous and you know it.

So do you. Who doesn't at the Wonders?
No, he is not invested now, there is no relationship.

I'm fully invested, and you know it. You wouldn't see anyone as active as me if they weren't.

I have planned my leaving with the club, not because of it.

Please note that I have been dismissed for a player who is parachuted in for possibly ONE game, whilst a certain player has been retained on the strength of their ONE post in a match thread for the entire season!

I was brought to the club for the purpose of fixing their finals record, which before I arrived stood at 5 consecutive finals losses, including consecutive straight sets exits. In my two seasons, the Wonders have now gone 3-1 in finals, and this is the thanks I get?

Anyone feeling sorry for the Wonders in losing 5 star players for S30 need only look at this to understand why. The club is a shambles.

Reputation doesn’t mean much when you are trying to put together a team that is hungry enough to win a flag.

Actions count. Attitude counts. Pride. But reputation - no.
