Lads, I've made the decision to head back home and seek glory with the club that I loved for so long, the Dragons. I really enjoyed my time here at the club and I was able to win the premiership I so craved.

A big thanks goes out to everyone who helped me be a part of the Wonders, and I wouldn't have left if I didn't get the blessing from PVF (who was totally understanding of my situation). Thanks again and good luck for S18.

Survived my trip to Adelaide without being hospitalized which was a positive.

Will mention that yes I basically ignored the preseason as a bit of a break but will be raring to go come the season proper.

Also planning to introduce a whole new stats suite for this season and it will look ridiculously better than anything PVF could produce. That makes me ask the question though, what stats do you guys rate highly? This won't just be simple tables anymore it should have quite a bit else.

I will not be the co-captain for this upcoming season. I have decided to pass it on and there is no person more worthy than TheFreshBanana so ladies and gentlemen, let's give him a hand as he embarks on his inaugural captaincy season. There was a lot of thought into this and it had been brewing for quite some time but to say that I'm over the league right now is nothing short of an understatement. This, in combined with upcoming commitments that will see me virtually move to Melbourne for a few months, I just don't believe that it is in the best interests of the club for me to have the position. With round 1 approaching, I feel as if there was no off-season at all and perhaps we are trying to rush into the next season too quickly. Sure people get bored of doing nothing and they might not come back but that's the risk that we need to take. This isn't a dig at okeydoke7 or the committee, it's a questioning of the entire league. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one with the same feeling so we do need to ask, are we rushing the SFA seasons too much? When I arrived, it had been one season a year and it has slowly quickened, if that makes sense, into an ongoing game of QOOTY. I'm over it; I'll still play, but I'm just over everything.

I was talking to Eth this morning and he kind of made everything clear to me and so I messaged TFB straight away. He has accepted and I know that he will be a great captain. I then relayed this on to croweater 41 and he could see exactly where I was coming from so it just makes sense to hand it over. That is all.

PS: And if anyone cares, I am trying to lessen my role with the podcast. I would love to turn it into a monthly episode with different hosts and guests. I will still offer my services to produce, edit and all the loose-ends.
