Even if Hardie can't bowl I'd still go with Short...Seems Cartwright doesn't bowl at all anymore.

Philippe certainly had ample opportunity to cement his position as a back up keeper / specialist batter in the Shield this season.

I suspect the extra bowler was because we needed 20 wickets in four days away from home in the last two games. The final is at the WACA over five days. If Hardie can bowl, I think you play Short and drop one of Stobo or Haskett. Our batting has been flakey, we need to shore it up.

To me, Stobo seems more like a containing bowler whereas Haskett gets wickets.
