This Hamish McKenzie likes a no ball.
Bowled 23 of them.

Getting called for back foot no-balls out of nowhere? Only thing I can think of.

My crack for next games team taking into account injury’s & Australian Duties would be.

Bancroft
Whiteman
Goodwin
Cartwright
Fanning
Curtis
Turner/Agar/Morris
Richardson
Paris
Gannon
Rocco

Wylie loses his spot as out of him, Goodwin & Fanning he was the least impressive. He still did a good job though.

Bancroft won’t get selected for Australia so he’s back in & you’d hope Whiteman would be over his injury. Both back to opening

Fanning shifts down the order. Goodwin looks at home at 3.

Curtis didn’t make a score but he was good behind the stumps so happy for him to get another shot.

Turner essentially moves down the order and is a replacement for Connolly who will be on Aussie duties. Like for Like

Rocco comes back in for Agar who I thought did a great job unless we want 2 spinners then it could be between him & Turner for the number 7 spot.

Paris hopefully with a decent break between games can back it up.

I think Couch even though he has been great will miss out. I feel like he’s very similar to Richardson. Both faster skiddy bowlers.

Gannon keeps his place as he’s a completely different type of bowler to Couch & Richardson with his height & bounce so offers a point of difference.

Paris, Gannon, Richardson & Rocco is a very varied bowling attack which you need on that Victorian road they will be playing on.

Morris is the other one but I can’t really see where he fits in. He could replace Gannon but I’d be very nervous playing all 3 of Paris, Richo & Morris with there injury history. Another option with Morris would be the play an extra quick in place of Turner/Agar but then that weakens the batting.

I think they will keep Morris on ice & bring him in round 5.

Morris in the t20 squad??

if not I would have Paris Jhye Morris Couch and Rocco

Gannon to miss out

I thought he was only in the ODI squad. If he's in the t20 squad thats just silly. He needs to get overs under his belt.

For me I'd go Gannon over couch just because he adds more variety with his height & is also handy with the bat. Don't get me wrong Couch has been great but I feel like Jhye & Morris would cover the attributes Couch offers.

Gannon has suprised me. I said 2 years ago on here that he was gone & I'd rather keep Moody....

Who does he push out? Hattrick Couch, been leading the attack Gannon or just back from injury himself Paris?

One that gets missed is Kelly played in the last match and did his hamstring in the first innings.

Makes the second innings effort even more impressive being a bowler down.

But as Torz said he's the obvious choice to go.

Question is what happens when Roc is back from Aus A. Handy with the bat but you can't have him at 7 like Agar. One of Gannon/Crouch to make way.

Well the One dayers are all over....terrible batting again

Bancroft is gone just a walking wicket these days never seen a batter go through such a terrible slump

Getting to the stage where he might need to have rest

bit concerning that Jhye still can't throw properly from the outfield, but I guess they can work around it since his bowling is more important

Going to be interesting come next shield game against the South Aussies

Will Bancroft play?? is Whiteman fit ??? will Jhye and Lance be allowed by CA to take a shit and play ??..Agar shoulder buggered.....hardie will he be back ???...I am assuming with Inglis now in the test squad he will not be playing any games as CA needs a drinks boy

So I would look at if fit and allowed to play

Whiteman
Fanning/bancroft
Goodwin
Cartwright
Hardie
Curtis
Paris
Couch
Jhye
Rocco
Morris

Turner out for Hardie...gannon out for Jhye Agar out for Morris

Whiteman comes straight back in......it's out of Fanning and Bancroft for me

Paris at seven is a bit of a long tail.....but I have been very impressed with Couch this year with ball and bat....he can hang around and support the top six batters as he showed today against the Vics

You don't need that long a tail to play 4 quicks when you have Hardie at 5.

If Hardie is playing they definitely need to go with an extra specialist batter.
