Millicent and South will be a very good game of footy. Cant wait for it. Think Capewell will have a hard time kicking a bag. Especially if Duldig plays on him given his current form.

Anymore news on Hosking BigAnt? Huge loss.
No news is good news...so where upto shit. And yes i think leroy cud have a hard time of it tmrw.

Yes Portland have started off good and may still have what it takes. Going to be hard stopping johns kicking big bags when he is still at his peak. Do believe Jarrod Ryan from west kicked 9 on the weekend, which takes him to 16 as well, could be between them 2 for the goal kicking if they can stay on the park all year.

Ryan must be in good form. Did you see the game?

more to the point johns had 19 shots on goal saturday 11.8, wait till he converts

Johns was unstoppable all day. Heywood fwd line cleared out and gave him ample room to lead. Sinclair has obviously worked hard all week to get that structure right.
Noticed big Mal leave the ground after landing awkwardly from a mark. Can anyone update the injury and if he will be available next week?.

Wasn't at the game, but heard he was like johns. kicked 9.7 with a few big screamers. Think he'll keep kicking bags if west can be competitive in all games. How does everyone think the ladder will be at the end of the year, since 2 rounds have been played!!

Bit early to tell yet. But you would have to pencil Portland to be in the top two. A log jam for the rest which should make for an interesting season.
I can see finals place being decided in round 18, that's how close an even the comp is. :thumbsu:

Well Millicent will be put thru there paces...tonight especially !! were told after saturdays performance - bring the runners !!! and cud be a session of 'british bulldog' one on one w the red pill between the two players.

He's on the right track Darren Dean, now it's a matter if the players will respond. As it looks like a very even competition....

The players would want to have changed as when brown coached there a few years ago, they all bitched and moaned about hard work, was herd to come out of the saints.

Yeah u'd think Portland and South would be up there at the top again. I think both Hamilton teams will struggle and everyone else could possibly make them. Just looking in the transfers with Josh Ransom looking to join his old man at West Gambier. Wonder if they have anyone else looking to join them throughout the year. Does anyone know about Tom Holmes from Glenelg, what kind of player he is????

Be interesting to see how Millicent bounce back after being slaughtered by South on the weekend.

Will say a lot about how they will go this season over the next 2 weeks with Portland at home and then Heywood away.

After a hard week on track Millicent showed some gut's and determination in rolling Portland yesterday. I know its already been said but this season will go down to the wire.

couldnt help but notice josh marnell has been selected in 2 sides tomorrow
heywood and westerns seniors
who will he play for or is it a joke?
if it isnt a joke what is goin on at heywood?

He did not play on the weekend for Heywood.
From what I hear, the coach gave him every opportunity to regain his form but he chose to walk.

To answer your question, " what is going on at Heywood",
this is something our club have not had to deal with recently because we were so weak. Players got a game each week with bad form or ill descipline. It is a healthy position when players are accountable for their position in the senior team.
