secondly, johns was easily one of the biggest waste of resources at a football club (essendon).
was injured for years and when he finally got on the park , he couldnt play to save himself, big deal he is dominating a low level country footy league WOW

Think its pretty funny how the local portland paper has come out and made Jarrod Ryan look like a criminal and a sniper on the football field. Kicking 7 goals till halftime don't think he is going to come out and take someone out when he is having a day out for no reason. I'm sure good players get targeted to try and put them out of the game. You can look at the last 2 times west has played portland at portland Vaughn Hockley has been done for striking, where is the write up about him? I think that immature bloke that commented about Courtney Johns needs to have a good look at himself. What Johns has done for Heywood is incredible as well as the other ex AFL players. Everyone is used to Heywood being unsucsessful and as soon as they start to have a solid season, certain people start bagging Heywood out again. Get Off there back!

"Making contact to his head". Don't you mean ruffling his hair up which is what footballlers to do each other and what Ryan had done to O'brien earlier in the game. Dear me, poor little sweetheart Ryan can't handle some hair ruffling.

And then he retaliated. If he's such a great footballer (and I'm not saying he isn't good) he should've just kept going with the game and maybe West would've beaten Portland by more than 2 points.

Well it's all over now, done and dusted, time to move on. Ryan got 4 games and Hockley 2.
Jamie Croker retired last year, he was playing some of his best football, but think family commitments made his decison easy.
Apparently the two boys from millicent gave Tom Agnew a flogging from behind in a carpark, thats why millicent have gave them a 2 game suspension.

For the record I don't think the editor of the Portland Observer is involved with PFNC, he definatley hasn't played there this or last season.
And sickening blow is used to describe hits and bumps that result in injuries in major metropolitan papers and television stations all the time, but as soon as a country reporter writes the same thing, his involvement with the club comes in to play. That is stupid. Oh, and another thing, your head high contact was a ruffle of Ryan's hair, something he had done to O'Brien earlier in the game, but clearly something you couldn't see cleary because of your blinkers.

Yeah he got a belting and it was the kicking that pissed everyone off, but there was no serious damage done, thankfully only cuts and bruises. Bet everyone was too floppy drunk. I heard Gascoyne who played a minor role lost his job because a relative lent on his boss, now that sucks.

Massive News out off Millicent former MILDURA players Glenn Gascoyne and John Egan suspended from the club after an incident at the football club saturday night, Big lose for Millicent with Gascoyne being one off the stand out players this season helping them to a 4-1 start to the season he was also named in the ruck to play interleague next weekend against Sunraysia in Horsham.... bit rough on Big Gassy considering most off the talk is that egan is the one in the wrong!! now from what i have heard loosing his job over the incedent
