Pick 64 - Rhys Unwin

It’s hard to tell what GC really even needs at this point but we’ve landed on a zippy small forward with good pace (2.88 sec 20m sprint) and good agility.

Seriously considered Joshua Murphy here instead but then realised (after much contemplation) I’d already taken him in the 50’s wearing my Sydney hat …. soooo ….

Mojorisin
Carlton are done now I believe.

Looking at my draft (there's one late draft guy I still want, but this has petered out a bit) and thinking. There's two players I'd possibly want available ahead of both Dattoli and Hynes in hindsight, but they're both defenders in Angus Clarke and Harrison Oliver. Maybe Oliver at 21, Clarke at 29, then Urquhart at 35 and keeping the Davidson pick might have been ideal.

Pick 65 - Floyd Burmeister

After apparently the longest pause in draft night history, GC select Floyd Burmeister - 199cm ruck from Vic Country. I would have thought he’s a 50:50 chance to make it but at pick 65 he’s worth having a look for a lazy 8-10 years as “talls take time”. We’ve got Moyle, Witts and Read on the list but we would probably expect Moyle to ask for a trade if Read goes past him and having another back up seems sensible.

You don’t meet many Floyds nowadays.
