Hi guys, I love looking at the designs you guys draw up anyway I thought i would have a go
I borrowed the shield from here But this is what I'd like to see the Bulldogs logo look like I whipped this up on Paint ( its not the best) But Its rushed, I would like to add the name to it and maybe a est 1883 to it at the bottom aswell
Thoughts???

It looks like you copied the Mack Truck logo onto a shield.
A shield which is a pretty odd looking shield because it has a rounded bottom.
The bulldog is too dark and fades into the royal blue background too much.
At very least you'd need a white outline around the dog.
I like the idea, 'bulldog on shield', but the execution is off a bit.
If you would like to add the name and date to it, go ahead and do so.
But I don't see how what you are going to produce is going to get anywhere near the simplicity or cleanness of this:

Its a rushed job ( I did it in 20 mins LOL ) but yes its the mack dog that I copied on the Paint program. I dont know how to do the name etc etc. although it cant be the mack dog the bulldog should look sorta like that one.
BTW the Costa Bulldog reminds me of a Pug ( No Offence to costa)

Anyway, I was wondering how do you get logos to fit in the avatar box. Everytime I try it some of it doesn't fit in the box.

If you make the image square, it should fit in the box without any cropping to the sides, top or bottom. There's a question and answer thread located here if you ever need it again.

I think you need to be a member for a week (or something like that) to start threads on any board.
Make sure your avatar is in the shape of a square, it's less than 128kb and no bigger than 200x200. Also, try saving the logo you wish to use as a .gif before uploading.

Did this logo for a bit of fun really and wanted to post it somewhere but wasnt sure on the thread so i guess ill just pop it in here cause it kind of relates.
I like it a lot. But what would it look like on different backgrounds, specifically blue, red (team colours) grass and black?

i reckon the new one looks good for a cartoon and a much better looking cartoon logo than richmonds one
I did this ages ago to tidy up the logo somewhat.

i did both names to begin with but only posted the western one because this was the "western" bulldogs re-branding thread
real quick version of how it could look on grass, the 1877 bit was barely visible like this so i just scrapped it

It looks very french once the white is defined, perhaps swap the blue and red around?
exactly what i was thinking, originally the white wasnt going to be defined but once on the grass there was a significant lack of white so i kept that bit. But now looking at it it definitely should be red white and blue
