pfft, get real. they play alright for 16 yr olds.

I think I saw Adamson twice play in defence on blokes just a bit older and heavier than him, he did alright.

And Jonathon Blake was unlucky not to go to Vic U16s I thought. Big bloke for a 16 yr old already. First time I saw him in round 9 this year, the comment i have in my notes here says "bright future" so we'll see how far he goes. He looks tough to me.

Your joking right tiggy! saying Johnothan Blake isn't tough is like saying Nathan Lyons can't play to save himself which is a pretty massive call. They are both excellent footballers and I look forward to seeing them do some great things next season. As for Adamson great guy, good talent also looking forward to seeing how he develops through the TAC CUP program

i stick to my comments i seen adamson play for the jets 16's and got 2 possies for the game and was on the field the whole sounds like a good player and i play angainst blake in local comp ducks his head when ever there is a contest

That’s a fair call and u are entitled to ur opinion mate but I’ve seen these guys play and Johnothan Blake is far from soft his a strong player. Adamson is only young he has plenty of time to develop. At least they are both getting the experience from being selected the play in the U18 side.

Yeah agree, and the Jets were more than happy with how they went this year, Blake's played about 8-9 games as a 16 year old, thats not to bad at all, and by judging Adamson on one game you cant really make a good verdict

Just on Adamson, he played deep in defence against Sandringham Dragons and played on Gribbin (94kg) and Roberts (100kg). That's a fair challenge to be given, agree with HighFlyers that he'll be better for that sort of experience.

Your joking me right? Jonothan blake is one of the hardest players down there at the jets, and he is only 16.

I remember playing against him 2 years ago and he was not much more than a tough big body, he was absolutely huge compared to most. In muscle and Height. But his improvement in the last two years has been even more than phenominal. He is a big unit.

He was a tall chf back when he was 14, before he decided to hit the weights and stay at the same height to become a midfeilder.

I've been best mates with blakey and played club footy with him for a long time and he is anything but soft. Who do you play for tiggy train ? Because if he's so soft and your not why arn't you at jets ?

I'm pretty sure Nathan Black will be playing in the U17 Invitational match for Western on the 7th of September. Game starts at 6pm at Caroline Springs if people want to come check it out. I know i'll be keeping a close eye on him I can't wait to see what he can do
