Still read it but try and stay out of it especially given Im not playing in this comp this year. Looks like Clarkey has taken up the slack though. Lol

Id just like to thank Ray Jenson for helping me find my couch during the week. Going by the pic in the paper this week, he ate it. The hard part now is getting it back!

You must be on the same diet... I'm still waiting for my replacement bed you broke a few years back! ;)

Don't even bother trying to tell me what to do until YOU get your act together. How about you start off by having a wash, Brushing your teeth(or tooth) & loosing a few kgs(20 or so for starters).

OLD NEWS buddy, old pal....if you think everyone is happy with all things at any club you live in fairy land...just remember what was happening at your club between a few players????
Thought a little more humility would be on the cards after so many lean years at spotty.
Send me a private message of your identity so then i can buy you a beer next time, after all you hace contributed so much to spotty's success.

This post just show's me how much you have admired Port Colts...so thanks.

You guys have a great team and in my opinion will smash everyone, so enjoy your success while the money last!!

Lewis is an absolute gun and crackers must be licking his lips with the amount of quality service he gets....would be scary what he could do if he was fit.

hey sorry for the late response Rock but me computer was down then ive been away for a bit gettin some sun.
have to pass on the beer tryin to cut down so will be selective of who i drink with,
my contribution to spotty would probably mean jack shit to you anyway.
as for admiring Port colts, nah not after seeing how quick they can turn
anyway have a good weekend

Altona over Hoppers 17pts

West over g/orden 4pts

P/Colts over Albion 22pts

Spots over Suns 48pts

St Alb over S/Heights 39pts

Anyway Roosters tips for round 14

West by 11pts (because i love the Roosters)
St.Albans by 66pts (should have Heights measure 2nd best side i've seen this year so to bounce back after a couple of hiccups)
Altona by 1 point (Altona at home, Hoppers if it was at their ground)
Albion by 37pts (Have hit back hard and the Colts are struggling, with the draw i predict Albion to grab the double chance)
Spotswood by 40points (Can anyone stop the juggernaught???? Might have to be a bad day GF day for Spotty and a great day for whoever plays them)....

Anyway that was all a bit too serious.....time for a stubbie....

i agree they [st albans] where very good against us, its very close from 2 to 7 the closest i've seen the league in a long time. And as much as i cant stand spotty, and there puffed out chest. The only ones that will beat them are themselves.

Puffing your chest out too much is a sure fire way to beat yourself. No risk of them doing that. The coach is pretty quick to put the overly cocky ones back in their place during the season. So the challengers are the ones who have the responsibility to beat Spotty.

very amusing,
so honestly how long have you been admiring them for,

but hey cause an upset today and you may get to sing your theme song in the centre of the ground again, with puffed chests

Strongbow - a cider every **** should drink:D may even put hairs on your puffed out chest:thumbsu:

Good game of local footy between Hoppers and Altona, good solid contest, really enjoyed the game. Between the two teams had heaps of kids running around which was good to see with our boys lifting to take the game after being down at 3q time. Interesting to see the draw between Colts and Albion.

A Draw between 2 Finals Aspirants

Altona come from behind to defeat fellow finals aspirants Hoppers Xing to move to second on the ladder

Spotswood thrash the previously second placed Sunshine

St Albans do enough to defeat the lowly Sunshine Heights

and Glenorden march to a rare victory

and all we have is 2 posts in the 26 hours since game's end yesterday !!

What has happened to everyone's sense of adventure and literary genius ???

If West had won a game maybe there would be something to talk about
Div 2 very likely west have 3 of remaining 4 games at home so hopefully a win not to far away.

Altona vs Hoppers was a very good game.
Pretty even game overall, and the scoreboard i think reflected both teams effort... Though in saying that, if Altona had of kicked straight in the 3rd, i think the 4th could have gone a lot differently, having Altona went into it with a lead,, though they didnt.. and an even contest was the result...

Altona vs Sunshine, IMO is the biggest match of this season, at least so far...
Altona 2nd vs Sunshine 3rd, this game "should" determine 2nd spot... Finishing 2nd this year is the best result considering Spotty are in a leauge of the own, and could probaly be playing the VFL (and do a far job in there)...
Just throwing it out there.... If the League doesn't want West/Orden/Heights being so uncompetive most weeks, as it is bringing down the reputation of the league. Should they try and do something Spotty being so competitive

Lets talk about some of the coaches.

Kelly- superside, well drilled and will win their 4th flag

Eames- has the youngsters up and running, on their way to becoming the next spotty

Jacob- first year has been solid a few ordinary losses, with a full list will be spotty's challenger.

Denny- got the most out of a list most thought would fall right away, will sneak into 5 th spot, great effort.

HARRO, was under a bit of scrutiny ealy has got the team playing better footy, though with the budget he has they have under achieved.

Ezard- will be gone by the end of the year, hoppers have not missed the finals for a long time, he has had some injury set backs, how ever the players are not keen on him

Lunt- lost a few key players from last year, though tpo go from 6 gf in a row and easily the best side last year to 7th is a massive fall from grace.
Colts love success so like ezard will be lucky to keep his job. Word around the traps also say he has lost some of his players.

Spotty premiers easy!!

Top 5 - spots, sunshine, albion, altona, st.albans

The bottom 3 speaks for themselves.

Firstly there is a difference between losing games and being "uncomeptetive".

Secondly I agree that the league should do something about Spotty being so far ahead..... TELL ALL THE OTHER CLUBS TO CATCH UP!!

Would be a much better comp if all other clubs improved rather than Spotty dropping off. Things go in cycles. Spotty have done a great job to be up for so long but it won't last forever.

FootyDoc. Massive call. Altona will have to win a flag before we predict that they are going to be 'the next Spotswood.' Not gloating, just a plain fact. Predicting Altona's impending greatness could bring back nightmares of The Dream Team of 1996(?).
I'll reserve my judgement until they have performed in finals.
