The Vales beat Yarra last season, and have improved out of sight this season.

Vales will smash Yarra 10 Goals +

As long as Thompson is tagging the boundary umpire, Wyndham Vale are a force to be reckoned with

Nice prediction shows how much you know about football. Yarra are on the up after a poor round 1 loss we have improved each week and really the scoreboard flaterd the vales as we absoultely beat them in every area and had we not taken the foot of the petal a 100 point loss was on the cards but full credit to the vales for fighting the game out in the final quater.

There a good young side the vales but are still very much work in progress and we wish them all the best for the season.

Braybrook are really really struggling along with Lavo and Nth Sunshine and there seasons are over.

Look forward to a big test this week against Albanvale. On a diffrent note the umpiring was great yesterday, good work umpires :thumbsu:

By no means the reason Vales lost yesterday. Yarra played all over them in the second and third quarter after a peretty even first. But I reckon the word "great" is overdoing it a bit. Far from the worst I have witnessed, but come on.

fair go Caino - umpires were good without being great.

Vales were outmatched, allthough their young guys showed some good run in patches and really moved the ball well around the ground at times.

to their credit they battled all day and grabbed a few goals back in the last which is a good sign when the scoreboard is against you.

Good to see a lot of the vales lads in the rooms after the game - Evo you must have given birth some time between the last game last year and saturday.......trimmed up nicely mate. Good to see :thumbsu:

deer park nth footscray
albanvale yarraville

cracking games.........

went to watch nth on the w/e imo they are a 5 to 6 goal better side than last year.....and parkside are the opposite......though for nth some tall timber in the f/ward line but they aint got much when the ball hits the deck.......only seen 1 goal from a kick to a leading player with a mark and goal.......all the rest were either crumbing or opportunistic goals......obviosly deer park beat nth sunshine would you rather an easy game going into a tough match or a hard slog going into another.....?????1 thing though imo the result wont mean much this time of year......

Re: WRFL Div. 2 Season 2008 and Beyond Part 4

Mate - All you've done is talk them up about staying down to get themselves in a position to go into A Grade. Bottom line is your losing players and have no choice but to go with kids, use wont make finals, and the decision by Goldy (Who r*ped your club originally) and his cavalry means Deer Park will forever be an average 2nd Divvy side:

North Foots
Parkside
Albanvale
Yarraville
Wynhamvale

After that it wont matter:thumbsu:

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
?????????????????????????????????????????????

and yes the decision was the correct 1 with d/p ressies having a draw with nth scumshine......from what i hear d/p kicked a goal and might add lucky goal to get the scores level in the last minuite.........

You really are just a knob aren't ya.

I may have been wrong. But you are a arrogant knob, and there is a reason why no one likes you....

Steven Bradbury never won a second gold you tool, this was my point exactly. If you can not beat Nth in your magoo's, then you do not want any injuries to call on your depth:thumbsdown:

It was blowing a gale Weapons, so not really a day for tall forwards. Nice win by the Devils and whilst the conditions weren't great, was a good, tight tussle all day.

Wasnt my best game fatso but i contributed well and considering i get 3 oponents each week it creates alot of oppurtunities for our other forwards :D...

Like the whole side we played pretty poorly round 1 against Parkside. Its not about how i play anyways, its about the team and how the side is improving and thats whats important. Big test this week against one of the premiership favs and will give Yarra a good indicaton of where we are at at this stage in the season.

michael kennedy to deer park..........???????????

Surely no chance!! DP would stand to lose too much over the bar. There is no way you could still go and support them if kennedy played after the things you said about him last year!
Or does character not matter once the player is in the blue and gold????

Hey Red, I notice patty Davis was not in the goal kickers for Parkside.

Did he play ?
