Hey Table Tennis, been told that Point Cook struggling to get numbers on the track.

Recruit's so far are mostly D1 two's players & one D3 player, may be a long hard year 2019.

Happens every year the jump from div 2 to div 1 is just to big for most clubs

Rome wasnt built in a day, and the houses are still popping out of the ground in Point Cook.

What I've heard is
Pt Cook: low numbers,
DP: who gives a rats
CS: heaps as usual and looking at a 3rd team if league allows
Albion: decent numbers and all keen
Districts: 3/4 of list turning up
Wogalbans: struggling
Sunshine: ?
Hoppers: ?
Altona: big turn outs
Spotty: low

Went past Hoppers training tonight and look like they had 50 - 60 players training.
They have nearly a full side of U19s going up hence the decision to run low numbers this season in the 2s.
One year of pain for the 2s where they still made finals to have a full squad for next year.

Well i can also tell you that Point Cook and Wyndham Suns have poor numbers.
Wyndham Vale are looking ok with a few new faces. Glenorden are picking up a frw recruits that have not played many games over past few years.

Just have a look at the clubs that had U19 this season. Dropping the age down to 18.5 is going to cause a larger influx of younger players into senior ranks.
I know Altona has a bit of an issue with nearly 70 players on the books so you would expect they are going to lose a few in the coming months.

keep recruiting other clubs reserve players and riddel league players..

Who gives a rats? That’s not nice. Come down the TAB you will find plenty of numbers.

I think you'll find if the money dries up and Deer Park drop down to the rest of the pack, the numbers in the WRFL will skyrocket.

It's a shame we're losing players to the EDFL, who don't really need them numbers wise.
