Also remember 2 of those were by less than a goal so could've been 4. If my memory serves me correctly Spotswood played in 9 straight. I think they won 4 and 3 of their losses were by 1pt yet people quickly forget about this. Money is a major factor in all our lives but some have more than others, doesn't always make them better.

2014/ 77 points
2015/136 points
2016/114 points
2017/3 points after smart shit himself
2018/48 points
Lucky with 2 results could have been a different story,people forget Spotswood played in 8 grand finals in a row no one was complaining then

Thanks David King for the stats. I was already reminded of this by your mate, but if you are going to repeat a previous comment, at least make sure you both have the correct facts, 8 or 9?

2007 won by 6 points.
2008 won by 20 points
2009 won by 18 points
2010 lost by 17 points
2011 won by 15 points
2012 lost by 1 points
2013 lost by 1 point
2014 lost by 77 points
All games bar the 2014 were competitive and you lot want to talk about 2 of 6 going down to the wire?

I’m pretty sure it’s perry to be honest. Obviously they were the ones that were gonna take their place! (Sarcasm by the way) no one has any idea! Sets up a great finals series anyway with all the angst going on.

Most of the angst probably won’t be on the ground. The last Spotty v DP was a tough encounter but played in good spirit. The players tend to leave all the BS to the supporters and the banter online.

Yeah that’s a fair call! I’m just looking forward to the most exciting finals series we have had in a few years in this league. Can’t wait for Saturday!

WRFL you are a joke how stupid are you guys love to do business with you any day 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 Actually we New the result already it’s been tested in other comps and the cold hard truth is you really can’t prove underhanded payments but changes nothing because any one with Half a brain know what’s happened.perhaps time to call in a few favours and back a club if this finals blows out to give a bit back if that’s the way . (By the way you can text me and suck my di%k don’t ever you know again.)

Deer Park having points issues with all the juniors that they produce??
They are such a well run club, develop their juniors. I would have thought majority of players would be home grown 1 pointers. I'd understand if it was Altona, Spotty, Hoppers or Werribee having points issues

TIPS:

Spotty v Deer Park - Deer Park will bring in Redpath, Byrnes, Van REIT but will Wong, Klix, James, Harrison, Jones be in the mix. I'd expect Brereton, Colbert, Booth to be dropped & Britten....?
I am tipping Deer Park to win in good conditions with the forwards to be to much for Spotswood to handle. They should be as it's costing about $12K that forward line tomorrow 😉

Deer Park - 29 points

Hoppers v Werribee - On paper Werribee should win this game, but I think this will be a very close contest. I'm not convinced on Werribee & think the midfield is a very big question mark. Hamad has been named @ Footscray so that leaves a gap where he would have been very handy on Avalon. In the end I am going to tip Hoppers with the midfield to be the difference in a close game.

Had a look at deer parks points when they played werribbee they were under by one point and had a look at there best side and only one point players to come in so they make it easy in my eyes even in that game there was 14 one point players

Hoping to see some great footy the next 4 weeks. The 2012 & 2013 GFs were some of the best and exciting footy in the WRFL I've seen.
