you just answered my question he swore in frustration this happens in your team too much enoughs enough i dont see other top teams doing this and i dont see many umps change there mind your teams discipline cost your side 1-5 goals every week / sunshine by 40 points if there is no rain your team is very overrated

you obviously don't get to too many games buddy, every team i play against have guys who swear it happens every week, that what is so frustrating, some umpires let it go others penalise you there is no consistency
if you swear directly at an umpire there is no excuse for that, 50 metres every time, but they have to understand footy is an emotional sport and there needs to be some tolerance on this issue i think

anyway you can query our discipline all you like we don't care what others think we know where we are at
how can a side who are reigning premiers be overated, i think we rated where we should be and that is in the top 3, we have the finals to prove if we are the best or not, we'll just have to wait and see

Hey GOOSE the weather was fine from what i seen. But the result wasnt 40 points Sunshine's way. If i was at the right game i think the Colts WON by 3 goals. caddy dominated again kicking 6.6. could easily of kicked 10 but couldnt convert. No. 8 for port also played well.

Colts run out strong winners in the end, with Caddy the difference between the two teams. Kicked 3 goals virtually after the siren in the first 3 quarters to give the colts the momentum going into the breaks, a serious big unit. Early Colts had the better forward line with Piggy Bracken and Chrissie Brannan on top but both of these players did not have much influence in the second half.

It was a great duel between the two bigmen in Julier and Mastropasqua who broke even on the day.

Acreman was the main man for the Kangaroos kicking 6 and stood out all day, Trevaskis started great but went out of it, while hangout Linton with 30 possies was the only backman for the Roos to play out the four quarters

But the big problem for Port was the discipline problem still with two reports, one to the serial pest Webbie who played a very good game who has priors this year and also to Cooper who was pinged for baring his arse to the crowd after a Cadddy goal.

Both teams have good players to come back for the next round at Whitten Oval in a couple of weeks time and probably both can be confident of an improved showing.

Forgot to give Hollywood McNulty a wrap, had a good game but stood up in the last term when it mattered to have a big effect on the Colts taking charge

UPNCOMER,I was wondering what you are uo to this tuesday and thursday i have a slight problem, and i have heard you mite be able to help me out i have this bloke that is playing fullfwd and marking everything in site but kicking only 50% at goals and i think he needs some advice from an old wise footy head like yourself so please feel free to come down and give this young bloke a chop out,and yes he did dominate again kicked some good crucial goals today which will help the confidence but im sure with your help he would be even better look fwd to your help be there at 6 sharp.

I'm going to agree & disagree with you here...the discipline area sometimes costs the colts, players cannot afford to get sucked in - come finals time you don't want to be playing 1 short, so certain players need to be told that it's not acceptable - I can understand it if you are backing up your team mate and you get sent off, but not for flashing to the crowd etc - that's bullsh*t - you let the whole team down and hopefully it's not a "tarrant/johnson" situation where certain players are allowed to get away with it? Colts are definitely not overated, I don't think they are playing their best footy at the moment, but let's hope we see it in the next few weeks. Go Colts!

joshy went ok,but did get out marked by hollywood a few times late,i was also more impressed this time with travy the boy can play.
The game was close all day but felt we were in control but again failed to put the game out of reach,hopefully we will click in the finals.
The highlight for us was the form of big GRANT MILLEN absolutely towled stenhouse up in the secondhalf and took some strong pack marks,if he can stand up in defense it will certainly help our premiership chances.
It will be a tough game for the kangas this week after albion give hoppers are good run and im sure all at albion will be keen to knock the kangas off in goldies final game.
Im also tipping spoty to get up against hoppers this week a loss heading into the finals will not be want hoppers want especially with the week off.

FIRSTLY TOC SETTLE DOWN MATE.
we all know there was nothing much in the incident and that will be proven tuesday nite at the tribunal,but still if you speak to kane he was a little bit over the top and not quite in control and as a team we cant afford to loose him for 15 minutes and then maybe even weeks,we have spoken and im sure he will not let himself down like that again especially this year,we need him at his best so we can win the flag,not falling in to some goose in the crowd but he knows that and im tipping kane to be our best finals player this year especially on the whitten oval and with his skill it will be a fine clinic.

I actually wasn't speaking about the Kane incident, I'm speaking in general as we have had a couple of players sent off for getting sucked into the crowd (which is what I am saying is bullsh*t)..and being an ex player and long standing supporter I've got every right to get on here and express my opinion, the team is bigger than the individual TOC...I have no problem whatsoever with Kane & I believe that Kane will get off and so he should but what I'm saying is that the umps wont tolerate that sort of stuff so just do what the colts do best and play footy. Don't get sucked in to idiots in the crowd. All the boys need to be totally focused over the next few weeks. Settle down and talk about the game which you are quite good about instead of losing your cool.

Good win by the colts on the weekend. Played the better footy on the day and deserved the four points. Our disposal let us down all day, particularly the last quarter.

Caddy, what a set of dukes the fella has, if only he could kick straight.

Looking forward to a return bout against the colts whenever it eventuates. We have to concentrate on getting over the line against albion at albion this week. Albion and Sunshine are arch rivals and nothing will excite them more than knocking us off in the last game so we dont get the double chance. We need to be on our game.

As for the incident with Kane, I cannot comment on that as I didn't hear what was said all I know is that was stupid what he done as a player especially with only 2 weeks away from finals.

Not sure about Webby's record with the tribunal but it wasn't a good incident and should get 2 weeks. Rock can you inform us of Webby's tribunal history.

Tuesday night is going to be a nervous night for the Colts at the tribunal.

He would be handy pick up alongside yourself , newman,chisnal and bracky however. As for your desciption of that yuk jumper...its Yellow and Blue champ not Gold and blue......

Anyway about the reports cooper should get offf just that ump going overboard as always.
Webby will be touch and go put his forearm up to protect himself but did leave the ground also the contact was minimal and thats coming from the ump but we are hopefull and with the wrfl tribunal you never know.

Now sunny i just think spotty are a good side that are starting to click and i think at home it will be a tough game for you guys to win,put it this way the result either way would not surprise me.
As for the week end we had five out,[mcbroom,bonnett,mullett l.bracken and rock07 but we had some players stand up that were probably on the fringe so it will be tough at the selection table over the next few weeks.
Regarding who we would like to play in the finals we dont care to win a flag you must beat who ever is put in front of you and we are confident we can do it.BRING ON THE WHITTEN OVAL
