Thought I'd do a bit of a write-up about the game.
Wonders 3.3 6.5 9.9 14.9 93
Hawks 2.4 5.6 6.7 4.8 32
GOALS: Wonders- Frothies McVeigh, Postmanpav, 4, Fuji Rock, Saintkildaman 2, croweater_41, Rick18, 1. Hawks- madman 3, YOTC 2, Zarko, reggie, wce_all_da_way 1.
BEST: Wonders- saintkildaman, ShaunDuggan, Fuji Rock. Hawks- Nessy, Larrikin, Hawks 1523.
The Hawks went into the game with a four goal penalty but the Wonders would of snuck by without it, in the end the margin being 61 points. The Wonders dominated the first quarter with Fuji Rock performing solidly at Centre Half Forward and ShaunDuggan a rock at the wing. The Hawks cut the deficit marginally in the second thanks to two goals by madman and a great performance by Larrikin to win plenty of the ball by. Although the Wonders were back firing on all cylinders in the third, Frothies McVeigh kicking three goals for the quarter as Nessy's efforts were all in vein. In the fourth Postmanpav and the Wonders defence made mince meat of the Hawks that the four goal penalty turned a great performance by the Wonders into an embarrising defeat for the Hawks.
NOTE: This is just my interpretation of the game, feel free to ridicule it.
