Will be good to soon see how Cripps fares under TDK - he has really declined with Pittonet as the ruckman and not getting many tips to advantage or knowing where the tips will be going

Spent five minutes on the bench, on the phone at the start of the third quarter. Then had one of the worst halves we’ve seen from him.

Something not right BBB.
Had zero influence on the game, can't even remember one really good piece of play except his goal at the end when the game was over.
We lost the centre clearances 23-7 and almost every single one in the second half.

If he is unfit he shouldn’t be playing. End of story.

Conspiracy theorist in me reckons he's checked out because he's leaving.

It affected me to see him NOT leading from the front so you would think that unless he is seriously injured it has to affect the psyche of the team - he didn't really seem to have any mobility 
Lumbar/pelvis. Whatever it is, it's painful for everyone.
But when he had the free space in front of him to goal vs Essendon, didn’t look injured all of a sudden.

Cripps ain’t injured as many of us want to believe or more so hope...
He has checked out sadly folks and halfway to WA already. We need to let him walk while maximizing any compo with any deal we can. We are bigger as a club than any individual and always will be as much as it will hurt to see him go.
If we pay him close to 1million a season like is rumored what he wants it is pure incompetence from the board on current form.

Hasn't dominated a game since 2019 and the AFL keeps wanting to speed up the game which takes away from his strengths.
Certainly isn't worth even $900k, even considering a bit extra for being a captain and leader.
You think he's tanked 2 whole seasons after being named AA captain to get back to W.A?

No I think he’s getting a pass from the club due to the contract situation.
But he's losing several hundred thousand a year from the next contract by playing poorly. He's not the type, it's his body.

Wouldn’t be the first player to peak early in their career. His physical limitations are tough to overcome without completely changing your training approach and body shape. Could be another Cooney.

Sorry for sounding so aggressive in my original reply, honestly didn’t mean it and just a bit heated. My fault.
I can’t accept its just an injury, since he’s trying to smash through 3 players at every stoppage, at every opportunity. What ever happened to the Cripps who used to get the ball and handball out to space?
