Plenty of times I have seen umpires call back stuff like that when there was not a clear advantage unfolding.

As I said in the post you replied to it is no longer an issue, we have the flag we have been pushing towards for a few years now.

Yep shocking decision. Lions were robbed. Also if Ashcroft doesn't do his ACL we almost certainly win dodgy umpiring decision or not.

I agree with that. Had Brisbane actually had a free kick 60 metres out and with a minute to go, anything could happen.

Kick it in the goal square or 20 or 25 metres out, joe Daniher could mark it. Charlie Cameron or Cam Rayner could of picked it up and snap a goal from 20 metres out.

But yeah I guess that narrow grand final loss in 2023 motivated Brisbane to win the 2024 flag next season
