Miasmata - I picked this up a good 8 or 9 years ago. Tried it for 30 minutes and didn't like it so I shelved it. I also like to complete every game I own on Steam and now that I've given it a proper bash today, I don't know what the hell I saw in this game. You wake up washed up on the shore of an island needing a cure for a disease you've been struck down with. The main selling point (I guess you could say) is this game utilises a compass and triangulation cartography system via objects, ruins, statues and the likes placed all throughout the map, and... it's just hideous and a mess trying to get used to. The map is hilly with a lot of tree coverage so a lot of time can be taken up with the map out (can't move when you have it out) and trying to look for objects so you know where the hell you are. And as you can imagine, you spend most of the time lost. I'll also add it's incredibly janky, but what do you expect for a game made by 1 guy. Sorry, just not for me. Brute forcing my way through this via location spoilers of the plants you need for various stuff to push the story along... I think the game kinda has a cult following for some reason, it was hyped to an extent during the time Greenlight was a thing on Steam apparently. I dunno, I'll be glad to get it over and done with.

Cricket 22

Feels kinda weird, I'm now playing the pc version via Xbox Game Pass, after already playing the game on Xbox Game Pass over the last few months.

I just thought it would be the Xbox version through a pc monitor... as it shares the same achievement list. But it looks far better and the loading times (and overall framerate) are much improved.

Anyone else playing NFS Unbound?

I'm enjoying it but they farked it by making you grind for money to enter races, parts etc everything is expensive in the game also you only get a certain amount of retires which sucks before you reset the day

Imposible to come first even on the easy dififcult unless you have a suped up car straight off the bat.

It was a good game. Who are you playing as?

I switch it up a bit, depending on what the mission is.

Batgirl gets the Talia Al Gul and Harley Quinn missions, Nightwing gets the Penguin missions etc. Then Robin did some of the Court of Owls missions from Chapter 3 onwards.

Only character I haven’t used too much is Red Hood, although I did like his pistol.

LEGO Skywalker Saga on xbox one.

A little slow down here and there but its a really awesome game that has some epic attention to detail to the series. I have plowed through the first 3 movies and about to start Ep 4. Loving all the added side quests that keep it interesting.
Have it on ps5 should get back into it,it's part of my back log

Gotham Knights.

Don’t care what any reviews say, I love it!

Hmmm might have to pick this one up when it's a little cheaper. Has the game improved since launch?

I liked NFS Heat

Had so much fun with this.

The original God of War.

Started it yesterday, probably a couple of hours in. Certainly engaging. More challenging battle wise than I was expecting but getting the hang of it.

You're in for a treat. Great game.

Far Cry 1. Looks pretty decent for its age. Didn't realise this was largely a linear game and not open world like the newer ones. Bit more on the difficult side at times and apparently brutal on the harder difficulties. Enjoyable though.

I have the original disc version and can't get it to run on Windows 10 :(

One of the patches (might have even been the most recent) made it so the bad guys could see you and shoot you through walls. But I'm sure there are fan patches that fixed that.

Haha yeah in the first area of the game I was being shot at through walls like you mentioned. Had no clue what was going on when it first happened. Read on the forums and you're right there is a mod to fix it called FCAM. Also gives iron sights and the ability to quicksave which are both handy. Runs fine on Windows 10 for me, but I'm playing the Steam version, though.
