Violator is one of the best albums of the 90s even if Rolling Stone only had it at 57th best. I think their list is a little dubious at best as they've got way too much love for Nirvana. R.E.M Automatic for the people should have been much higher.

Though I doubt you’d find many lists that don’t have Nevermind No 1. IT also comes down to how much exposure bands had, but I think some of the songs/artists were a tad overloved. But you’re probably right, IU maybe overrated due to what subsequently happened. And the whole ‘Nirvana’ thing.
