new chelsea wolfe. has hints of bjork's homogenic and jarboe to my ears like her other recent track 'whispers...'

+ some other staples

the backlist shot at the start of the video where the camera pans up from her boots to her playing guitar is iconic

can't believe they haven't put an album out for 7 years now

Violator is one of the best albums of the 90s even if Rolling Stone only had it at 57th best. I think their list is a little dubious at best as they've got way too much love for Nirvana. R.E.M Automatic for the people should have been much higher.

100% - In Utero in the top 10 is laughable imo.

Though I doubt you’d find many lists that don’t have Nevermind No 1. I reckon the front half of In Utero is at least as good, though Cobain overplays his hand with the abrasiveness in the back end (though Radio Friendly Unit Shifter is pretty funny).

But you’re probably right, IU maybe overrated due to what subsequently happened. And the whole ‘Nirvana’ thing.

IT also comes down to how much exposure bands had, but I think some of the songs/artists were a tad overloved. I did notice they rated Beck highly but I though bands like R.E.M lowly.
