Personally, I'm counting down the days until November 23rd (well actually, I'm not).

I'm really worried about Trade Week this year. Usually I love it, but I'm scared ND will trade our early picks and/or Travis.

I don't know about trying to get whitnall, he's injury prone, overweight and slow...sure he is still a very good player, with an excellent footy brain (and the sort of CHF we need)...but I don't see him leaving Carlton, plus they would want too much for him. Same goes for Goodwin. (the last bit that is).

I think we're better off doing two or three smaller trades getting 2nd or 3rd year young midfielders such as Dylan Smith and Brent Reilly. Hopefully these guys could step right in and make an impact with the opportunity that they wouldn't get at their clubs' strong midfields.

I also think our 3rd and 5th pick should go to Raph Clarke and Colin Sylvia.

Add Bell, Thompson and Armstrong and you've got yourself a very good versatile midfield.

Billy Morrison for a our second round pick as well...he is a talent.

Looking forward to both, but if we trade our top picks then we can bugger off the national draft.

But do you know what I'm looking forward to more than these two?

The eventual Re-Opening of the FLAME! Just wait and see what Deestroy has planned for the site, and the ideas we have incorporated! It will be your one stop site for all the Demon news and Demon chat you can get your grubby little hands on! :D

I thought you or Deestroy would just do that on photoshop :D

As long as Melbourne keep picks 3 and 5 I will be happy.

And CFH and Deestroy - good luck with The Flame :D

Forget about Reilly.

He wont be traded, I will bet my house on it. The coach, the club and even the city love him.

They wouldnt have been so eager to re- sign him if they wanted to get rid of him.

Haha, I wouldn't go overboard radar, there won't be any riots in the streets or anything if he gets traded. I doubt the whole city is in love with him just yet, maybe a few, younger females :p

But yes, I agree, he won't be traded unless a team pays more than he's worth, and I don't see any club doing that.

These over statements wouldn't have something to do with your nickname now would they??

Without any disrespect to the talented young boy from Romsey, reilly is not the sort of footballer Melbourne need.
He's a good mark for his size and uses the footy well but he just doesn't have the attributes of a bloke who wins alot of his own footy.
Mitchell Hahn would have been a nice one to get and Dean Solomon has the body the Demons need.

Mitchell Hahn eh? I've heard we might be interested in him, although the word from the Doggies board is that they would be very reluctant to give him away.

We are no chance in getting Solomon.

I get the feeling that I read somewhere that Mitch Hahn signed on for two years with the Dogs although these days that doesn't mean a whole lot.
Maybe Lamb and a third round pick to the Dogs for Hahn?
He's only 22 and looks to have a heap of guts, Lamb would help the Dogs out in defence.

Done. :) But not on photoshop, my computer's too slow for that. I did it the old fashioned way on Paint.

This is my best shot at Simon Goodwin and Brett Burton in the same shot. I couldn't do Lance Whitnall, his head looks wrong on most of our players' bodies. :D Maybe Deestroy can tackle him.

This one's for Lamby and CFH.
