North Korea, Isn'treal, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, USa? Russia is a hole too, but the women are magical, and I want to see Kamchatka. There's lots of African countries where I wouldn't feel too safe, (although Botswana is apparently healthy, well-run and full of sensational wildlife... the jews from DeBeers know how to run a tight ship, compared to most of your Africans. ) Columbia is certainly worth a miss, i usually don't feel much sympathy for the westerners who get kidnapped there every week by the resistance guerrilas, (who call themselves "FARC" which is a cool name for a bunch of rebels who blow s%^ up.) Papua New Guinea has too many downsides to make up for the upsides, from my perspective.
From what I've seen of it though, you can't go too far wrong with most of the South Pacific...it's gorgeous.

Me? I'd love to go to Iraq or Serbia. I'd hate to go to NZ, though probably will because its the closest and cheapest. I've heard China is bad too.
Ireland was pretty bloody boring when i went there, but i only went to Dublin.

Nz is absolutely spot on. I wouldn't say it's cheap, not by any stretch of the imagination. I would say third world countries like Bali, Fiji, Mexico etc are cheap.

Fach it, no one hates the Kiwis except for the Aussies, so the chances of it being bombed by Osama and friends aren't great.
Could I go to NZ and get unemployment benefits there?

Totally agree. We went there for a weekend to escape the drab of London and there wasn't much to rave about. Guiness Brewery tour was interesting and Temple Bar went off (especially Zanzibar - some seriously fit women in that joint !) but that was about it.
I've travelled a fair bit for work, especially in Asia, and I'm in no hurry to get back to Taiwan again. The women are mighty toey up there, but you soon appeciate simple things like clean air, drinkable water and footpaths !

Moh. Serbia's not too shabby... Belgrade's got a nice air to it, and the people are nice (although a bit odd)... fascinating history too.
And both of those countries have delicious women. Been to one, would love to go to the other.
they've got some of the finest museums and the biggest palaces in the world. Ever been to those parts of Europe where they have the enormous cathedrals and massive churches? well multiply it by about 10. Some of the most priceless pieces of artwork reside in the Vatican and as a bonus it's in the middle of Rome.
The Guiness factory was good in that you got a pint of the stuff at the end (a blessing in disguise really, the stuff is vile), and the Temple Bar goes off, but there are plenty of good Irish pubs around the world anyway.
