lol I've seen Richmond win nearly as many flags in my 60 years as Geelong have won in 125, I think we'll be just fine thanks.

How do you have your next 44 flagless years planned out?

It's interesting how Carlton and Geelong have some sort of intangible alliance these days. I'm not really sure where it stems from. Probably part of it is the shared hatred of certain others, and the certain level of diignity our clubs and supporters adhere to. I'll be supporting them to win it from here no doubt

No, because I don't plan for things that won't happen. Even when we're not winning flags, we're winning games of footy more often than not, which is great. Very few clubs get to say that :)

How is Pick #6 and #31 for Jacob Hopper sitting with you ahead of the draft? Not much exciting youf in the third round :(

You know, I think you're right.

The Blues just play at Marvel stadium and don't piss and moan like Collingwood and Richmond do about it.

They come to Kardinia Park every now and again because they don't pretend to be "bigger than the game".

They take our cast offs and give them serviceable careers while giving us decent picks in return. They've had the good sense to employ Geelong's administrators and by and large their players, much like Geelong's, have kept out of the headlines.

Their leader, Patrick Cripps, is a nice enough fellow and very fair in the way he plays. They're keeping Tom DeKoning warm for us for a few years and understand that the Geelong Falcons is a happy hunting ground for elite youth.

I do bristle a bit at their salary cap rorting and Greg Williams, but the latter was our fault for being tightarses.

Go well, Carlton and if not Carlton, the Carlton feeder club, GWS.
