Finals Predictions
Collingwood fans burn down the MCG after a 10 goal loss to Richmond.
Trent Cotchin takes out five players and dosen't get suspended.
West Coast beat Melbourne by an arrogant 186 points.
With the MCG dead, the AFL has no other option but to schedule the Grand Final in Perth.
West Coast arrogantly kill Richmond by 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 points.

How can you just dismiss Lycett and Gawn as if it's completely part of the midfield discussion. Lycett was disgusting.

Beating Collingwood in a GF - heavenly, worth it just for the McGuire meltdown. Pies fans will probably rain down a tirade of expletives at how unfair the umps are.
Losing to Collingwood - don't even wanna think about it. We pulled ahead on head to head recently and the Pies having a GF win over us would lead to them bragging about having the wood on (mind the pun) us. Living in Melbourne the jizzing in black and white will rain down from the heavens. Might have to leave town for a bit lol.
Beating Richmond: finally a Melbourne scalp, against the odds, will be massively chuffed.
Losing to Richmond: would suck, but at least we saw it coming. We don't have as much of a finals rivalry with them either.

That's the point I was making. He couldn't get any space to use the ball cleaner because he's too slow these days, which means he's only left with the quick hack forward. It's going to be even higher intensity this week so I doubt if he'll be any better
I don't think we've ever played richmond in a final.
We’ve been a round for 30 years and they’ve made finals in only about 3 of those so you’re probably right

watching the Dees the other night and seeing Gawn running amok,he reminds me of Dean Cox.dominant and athletic.but i think he is on the soft side and my No 1 priority on Saturday would be for every man and his dog to get stuck into him.bumps,elbows and abuse.Lycett cant jump with him but he can soften him up.Hawthorn had chances early to both score and to deliver a few good hits but took neither.fifteen minutes in and Melbourne started dishing it out.Mitchell copped a hit everytime he went near the ball.Im neither in or out of the Lecca fan club at this time but the fact that he hacked the ball forward for two goal assists just corroborates what was stated in the media.Teams that played fancy schmancy got rolled by teams that got the ball forward at all costs.With a forward line like ours;IF you dont have time then just get it in there.
I’d be happy for Lycett to risk suspension by hammering Gawny at all times. We can handle Richmond with just Vardy.

Ask the question;Did Gawn step up and lead the Dees out of the wilderness by his prowess and physicallity, or did the whole team lift thus taking the pressure off him and releasing him to play a more uninhibited style of footy? It could be looked at two ways.I dont think he is very physical thats not his gig.So to me you need to strike the head off the serpent [ aka a demon for the sci-fi fans ] We shouldnt be afraid to go after their big banana.Get in his face.Nothing is more demoralizing than to see your big man take a few short steps.
