Do you ever wonder what happened to those long lost stars, or hacks that once graced us with their presence on the field?

Anyone know what happened to the great Stephen Jurica(NOT!!) and Stuart Edwards?

Stephen Jurica was going around in the VFL with North Ballarat last I heard.

Stuart Edwards got a mention in the paper last week (must have been hard up for football stories at the time) as he will be back playing suburban footy after a stint out of the game.

Here is a blast from the past, thought I was so cool to be a footballer but never was, Enrico Misso who played for the Bombers in the 80's, another Ringwood boy.

What about Stuart Wigney??? What a champ he was.....

Yeah I think I heard Jurica was playing VFA. Surprised he didn't end up at Norwood too.

Im sure i read in the paper a month or so ago that Paul Bullus and another ex Afl player, were creating a website listing ex players and what leagues and clubs they are playing at now.
If anyone knows of this site could they please post it.It should make for interesting reading.

Duncan Kellaway earns the nickname 'Glove' for exactly the same reasons as Gary Payton.

haha.. damn, got beaten to it... posted by The Glove, i immediately thought of Gpayton... hehehe... the best PG in the NBA at the moment...

say Jod23, who's your pick for best PG?
jkidd and payton?
i think i'd take payton... scoring ability and superior defense...

I was aware of Payton's nickname but chose to refer to our own sport as opposed to a sport based OS. I like basketball, but when it comes to a choice between the 2, footy rules every time. Even though I actually play basketball.....

Coxon - there are a few great PG's in the league at the moment like Kidd, Payton, Iverson, Marbury and even Nash. But Payton is head and shoulders above the rest of them. Payton is called the glove for his suffocating D which we all know but what makes him so hard to beat is that he hurts you at both ends. For a small guy he has an amazingly good post up game and a lot of Seattles offence flows through Payton and the Post. Hes also a big time performer, other guards like Marbury and Kidd to a smaller extent go missing in big games but Payton always has the ball in his hands.

Best PG? Payton hands down.
