If Moorcroft got 1 week for hitting Hulme in the face then what did Liba do exactly to get 5 weeks? If i was a Bulldogs fan i would be pissed off and rightly so.Liba has done some bad things in the past but he has won a brownlow medal and conducts himself very well off the park. There was no footage of the incident and i bet if there was he would have got less then 5 weeks. When will the AFL tribunal be scrutinized just like the players are every week?

Quite obvious i would have thought BB.

Point 1/ Libba was more than 100 metres from the play when he, on his own admission struck Knights. Lloyds was in the run of play

Point 2/ Libba has a history. Lloyd doesnt

Quite simple really. I think personally Lloyd got off lightly, but how can you possibly compare it to Libbas behind play actions!!!!!!

Brat, Moorcroft hit was a slight jab, even hulme can't recall being hit. (Don't know if his cuaght monday amnesia) but hulme said it was just pushing and shoving. It didnt cuase hulme to get a black eye or stiches as moorcrofts jab was across the chin not in th forehead like libbas. He got 1 week which was fair. As for libba I dont really care about him.

Blueblood,
Two completely different issues. I think a king hit behind the play which results in quite a few stitches is viewed more seriously than 2 blokes facing each other and pushing and shoving. All Libba did was exactly what Matthews did to Bruns (although Knights was looking over his left shoulder)so if you want to compare I think that's the one to talk about.

I watched the match live and I thought at the time Moorcroft tried to jab Hulme but it seemed to have no effect. Either they must breed them tough down Frankston way or Moorcroft couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

Both are correct.

Re: the Libba incident! There was no king hit. Knights ran at him. Go it!!

Did anyone hear about a behind the play incident in the hawks/freo game, where a freo player was felled.? No gee I wonder why?
