Nice stuff! :D
Yeah I like it, but I enjoyed our old design a bit more, because it was all white with a red cross on (with black shorts). There's not enough white in our current playing kit...but I do like that it encorporates all the various logos we've used over the years, the shield of Helsingborg, stickman as well as a big bustling Saint on our shorts. You can imagine how much I love the Saints NAB Cup guernsey for this year. Soo close to buying it...just feels a bit expensive

Seriously? That's awesome! Great design. I love how the crowns are in the antlers. :thumbsu:
yeah, I think both the Elks one as well as the Helsingborg Saints design come from people here on BigFooty Forum =).
That is actually why I registered in the first place. I've been voted in on the board of AFL Sweden, as their secretary, and have since been tasked with spreading information about our new design competition. I just need to post 25 times before I can start a new thread...but I might as well mention the competition here as well.

Whoever designs the winning bid will of course win his/her own guernsey with said design. It is for this years International Cup in Melbourne, where AFL Sweden Elks will yet again field a team. You can read more about the competition here: http://www.aflsweden.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=153&Itemid=230

Also, if there's anyone who are unfamiliar with the three crowns in relation to Sweden, you can read about it here =) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_crowns

Welcome to BF, from an American! Not on USAFL board, not sure I want a position there or on our local club board, but I have worked with them (both USAFL and Columbus Jackaroos) quite often on projects.

Coming off a 4th place finish last time around, our national squad will be ready if/when we play Sweden in International Cup this year! Go USA Revolution! (And shouldn't forget the ladies; Go Freedom!)

Cheers!

Thanks, appreciate it =). Have you been selected in the squad yourself? I was lucky enough to be selected this time around, cannot WAIT to go down under and play this summer =D !

Picked this up the other day:

While it looks like an Australian cricket top from around 2003 it is a tennis shirt as worn by Mark Philippoussis during his 2003 Davis Cup campaign. Not sure if replicas of these were ever made, really wanted one bad back then, had asked Fila about getting one and they told me they were only making them for Mark. Unlikely that this one has been worn by Mark as there is no sponsor patch on the right sleeve.

Similar to the cricket shirt, collar different as is the material used.

Congrats on that!

No, I'm too old to play at that level. One of the Jackaroos was BOG for the USA v Canada match two years ago, though. As for me, I just survived my first training session with the Jackaroos last night, in fact. Long story short: I am 53, and have been rehabbing for the last two years from a car wreck several years ago. As recent as 18 months ago I was walking with a cane. Still have a ways to go, but have come a long, long way, and with the knowledge I have of footy (have been a Magpie supporter for years, which is longer than some of our mates have even known about the sport), I'm sure I can play on ground in some matches this season and benefit the club. :)
Thanks ^_^. Means the world to me!

Impressive to hear that you're getting out on the field again after such a serious injury (cane!? wow), I hope I'll still be playing when I pass 40 (which is less than a decade away >_<).

Added a few more NBA game jerseys over the summer.

1988/89 Nique, worn @ Sacramento

1996/97 KG, worn @ Golden State

2007/08 Nash, worn @ Portland

Some absolute classics there!

2014 NQ Cowboys player issue/style Thurston's #6. Love it.
