My collection has hit 65 match worn/player issue (41 of which are Freo). These are ones I have pictures of, 4 more on the way including Lance Franklin 2009 player issue signed by Buddy and Cyril, Angus Brayshaw Pink Lady 2015 Match Worn, Jonathon Griffin 2012 Training Worn and Greg Broughton 2014 match worn name round jumper.

Always looking for more so if you have some you might like to sell let me know!

Thing I haven't ever noticed is that the his logo is "sublimated".

The hjs logo is stitched flat into the jumper which means they have cut a perfect his logo sized hole into the jumper after production and blended the his logo in. Reckon it would have been tricky

Is that consistent with other jumpers of the time? Interesting concept

Yeah my 94 Matera is the same, it definetly feels like they've cut a hole out for the badge to go in. When you run your finger across the edge, it's pretty much flush with the wing fabric.

But then my kemp pre season centenary, is just a badge stitched onto the wing, quite strange that they'd be different.

Chris who is your long sleeve metropolis one the same as this latest one, or like my long sleeve one, with the just the badge placed over the wing??

My long sleeve one is the same as yours, hjs sewed on top
Long sleeve jumpers were usually kept for a few seasons with the sponsors patches changed to suit the deals. The hj's symbol being so big it would make it hard to cover with any new sponsor so on the long sleeve jumper they just attached a patch. I know this is still what the WA state team do, they have a full set of long sleeve jumpers and ask the players if they think they may need a long sleeve, if they will they sew the current sponsor patch on.

For the short sleeves that get much more use they must have trialled the "acrylic sublimation".

Looking at the photo it looks like the HJ logo has been embroidered directly on to the jumper. At the time Sekem were doing this with the TAC logo on the Richomnd PI jumpers.

Nice. Be wary of the Buddy "P.I.'s" from that era, there was a retail run of Hawks jumpers with the #23 sublimated, similar to what was done with Andrew McLeod and Ben Cousins in his Richmond days.

Not saying yours is a retail but just a heads up

Size is one indicator. As far as I'm aware Buddy is a 2XL.
