80??? Damn I wish I had that many! I only have 41 freo
Damm, I'm now lagging behind in third! Time to buy, buy, buy. I wonder if Freo will have an end-of-season jumper auction, they haven't auctioned anything since the Fyfe Brownlow stuff.

Quality over quantity mate, that's my moto anyway!!!
Great motto, though I think you've got both quantity and quality in your collection!

I'm still hoping I can add a Pavlich or McPharlin PI or game worn to my collection, then I'd be happy! I'm know I'm going to have to pay a decent amount for either.

Their only auctioning off the clash jumpers that didn't sell Apparently they aren't getting their hands on the home jumpers this year, makes me think they may be reusing them next year (hope not)

Not much quantity in my collection, must have me confused with someone else :) I've got 14 jumpers at the moment, 9 player issues, the rest are one off retails.

You sure you didn't speak to the eagles by mistake ;) that's their favourite excuse!! "We're using them again next year" I call bullsgit on that, as if their apparel deals wouldn't include new guernseys for each season!! It's not bloody North Melbourne we're talking about. They think we're bloody idiots!

Yeah I would be very surprised if they did reuse them, they've always auctioned off the home jumpers previously so I don't know what their plans must be for them this year...

If they're anything like west coast, it's just all too hard, and they're lazy campaigners that don't give a shit.
Nah their awesome (Craig is a champ and is in charge of auctions) but they said they weren't given access to the home jumpers this season, just don't know what that means for them

Nah at North we usually leave them on a rack at the end of the year and sell PI jumpers for $50-$100 each, like its 1982. Not that I'm complaining, makes me very happy and doesn't burn a massive whole in my pocket.

I wonder what that does mean? A new or modified clash jumper but the same home jumper?

I thought at the least they'd have home jumpers to sell from retiring and de-listed players, players that are changing numbers in 2016 and jumpers that are worn or torn and need replacing. Maybe I need to email Craig to see if there are any McPharlin jumpers for sale as he won't be needing his next year sadly.

That's what West Coast did a few years back, then they decided to put them on the online auction site, with a reserve of $120, that was ok, when they auctioned off entire sets, so you could always get a decent player for about $150, then they decided that was all too hard, and have stopped doing it all together.

They also stopped the dirty guernsey program, the special dig deep jumper, and auctioning off the one off match worn jumpers (indigenous, Grand Final, etc) I was told a lot of it has to do with the new laws surrounding COA's and authenticity, but to me it just seems like they feel it's too hard, and they aren't making enough profit from it, to make it worth their while.

90%, possibly more, of the supporters are happy with the crap they sell in the team store, for those of us who aren't, we miss out, even though they could pretty much name their price, and we'd likely pay it.

I've not heard of these new laws, do you know more about them and what the changes are?

One thing I have noticed is that the Freo and Bulldogs jumpers I've bought this year from their official auctions come with a COA from the club, but the Giants jumper I bought came with a COA from the club with with an AFLPA numbered hologram on it. I wonder if more clubs will start doing that?

2008 Port Adelaide "Planet Teal" Jumper - #3 Steven Salopek (PI)
I really love the concept behind the Planet Teal jumpers, so I was pretty glad when I found one on eBay. This is another jumper that doesn't have the locker tag, not sure why some do and others don't.

It was about 2 years ago I think, that things changed, can't remember exactly what the deal was, but I know things were tightened around producing COA's for match worn guernsey's (which I'd assume they did anyway) Maybe they were required to provide them for normal player issues as well??

I'm sure someone on here will know more about exactly what the laws are, and why they were changed.
