NiceNot much on the guernsey front recently, waiting on a few though What I did get is something I've wanted since the mid 90's. I got 1 not long ago, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to get 1 of each, both brand new (well they were mounted on footy stands for their whole lives, so pretty close to new) for $100 each, they were an absolute bargain, when you consider that a game ball these days is about $180, and these were only produced for 3 seasons, so they are getting harder to find. Yellow one inflated perfectly, red one has a leak, but I got my other red on a new bladder for $12, so will do the same for this one. Enjoy!!

I loved these footys as a kid. I remember seeing an ad for them in the 94 GF record, couldn't afford one as a 9 year old kid, and have wanted one ever since. Strong nostalgic reasons for wanting these. It takes me back to the 90's, when I used to watch any and every game I could, and it was also the time I really started to get into the finer details of things like the different jumpers, the footys etc. You all understand, the weird obsessive things that we all look for, and the reason there's an entire board for jumpers and graphic design Anyway, they fit in well with my other 90's footys.

Link?looking at a few jumpers on ebay.
can anyone have a look over them n make sure they are genuine player issues etc?
thanks
Ripping! I feel like the Challenge Bank era was just before me, so it seemed like a forgotten weird era for me as a kid, looking at the photos. I love the McDonalds one though as shit and horrible as they are as a company (say that to me at 5am at Vic Market Maccas). The VW ones were so good though. I miss the old days of ubiquitous ball sponsors. Not much on the guernsey front recently, waiting on a few though What I did get is something I've wanted since the mid 90's. (Also, I have an afl.com.au ball from about ten years ago. The end is coming off very slightly at the stitching; they say they have a lifetime warranty.. anyone ever exchanged a top end Sherrin?)
Take photos of it to a few memorabilia shops and see what they can do. I'm not too sure, but it's worth a shot I guess.Does anyone know if any of the sporting memorabilia places would do swaps? I have a signed St Kilda Jumper (http://shop.saints.com.au/st-kilda-saints-number-4-signed-framed-guernsey-80133.phtml) which was apparently sold for over $1000. I am a North supporter though so Im wondering if any places would swap it for a Wayne Carey jumper or some North premiership stuff... Or will I be best ebaying to get the cash to reinvest?
I was keen on the Petterd jumper too, but you outbid me! I have a 2010 one of his in my collectionBack again guys, uploading a few new purchases
