Not much on the guernsey front recently, waiting on a few though;) What I did get is something I've wanted since the mid 90's. I got 1 not long ago, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to get 1 of each, both brand new (well they were mounted on footy stands for their whole lives, so pretty close to new) for $100 each, they were an absolute bargain, when you consider that a game ball these days is about $180, and these were only produced for 3 seasons, so they are getting harder to find. Yellow one inflated perfectly, red one has a leak, but I got my other red on a new bladder for $12, so will do the same for this one. Enjoy!!

I loved these footys as a kid. I remember seeing an ad for them in the 94 GF record, couldn't afford one as a 9 year old kid, and have wanted one ever since. Strong nostalgic reasons for wanting these. It takes me back to the 90's, when I used to watch any and every game I could, and it was also the time I really started to get into the finer details of things like the different jumpers, the footys etc. You all understand, the weird obsessive things that we all look for, and the reason there's an entire board for jumpers and graphic design:D Anyway, they fit in well with my other 90's footys.

Nice
I've also got a Challenge Bank Sherrin, signed by the 1996 Hawks (our near-merger year)

There is no better footy than the red footy with the yellow M.
Do you remember the soft small indoor toy footys that McDonald's released at the same time?

Sure do, got a few off ebay a few couple of years ago for my kids. They didn't last long, over the fence, on the roof, and destroyed by the dog:D They were cool though, and remember when Maccas brought them out.

First guernsey is Dane Rampe's 2014 grand final jumper. Sold as in condition so I'm not sure if it is match worn or not. The 2nd one is Jake Lloyd's match worn jumper from Rd 17 2014 vs Carlton when the swans equaled their record for the most consecutive wins in a season (12). The third is heath Grundy's match worn club champions medalist guernsey form Rd 18 vs Adelaide 2015. And finally an ISC swans protoype jumper with white cuffs.

Does anyone know if any of the sporting memorabilia places would do swaps? I have a signed St Kilda Jumper (http://shop.saints.com.au/st-kilda-saints-number-4-signed-framed-guernsey-80133.phtml) which was apparently sold for over $1000. I am a North supporter though so Im wondering if any places would swap it for a Wayne Carey jumper or some North premiership stuff... Or will I be best ebaying to get the cash to reinvest?

Ripping! I feel like the Challenge Bank era was just before me, so it seemed like a forgotten weird era for me as a kid, looking at the photos. I love the McDonalds one though as shit and horrible as they are as a company (say that to me at 5am at Vic Market Maccas). The VW ones were so good though. I miss the old days of ubiquitous ball sponsors.

(Also, I have an afl.com.au ball from about ten years ago. The end is coming off very slightly at the stitching; they say they have a lifetime warranty.. anyone ever exchanged a top end Sherrin?)

Yeah I much prefered the times when it was just the same sponsor across the whole league. I guess now the clubs can make a bit of money from it too, rather than just the AFL.

Didn't realise they had a lifetime warranty though. I've had baldders replaced, not through Sherrin though, although they did tell me they'd do it, but I'd have to post it iver to them, not worth the hassle, when Slater Gartrell's will do it for less than $20.

Take photos of it to a few memorabilia shops and see what they can do. I'm not too sure, but it's worth a shot I guess.

If not, then sell it on eBay and see what you can get for it.

I'm pretty happy I've managed to add a couple of BBL shirts to my collection, I've got four in total now (two vests and two long sleeved shirts):

2014-15 (BBL04) Adelaide Strikers Player's Vest - #25 Jon Holland (PI)
20160531_221519_HDR.jpg
20160531_220810_HDR.jpg

2015-16 (BBL05) Melbourne Renegades Player's Vest - #7 Cameron White (PI/Signed)

There's 9 signatures on the back, Gayle, Beaton, Tremain, Doherty and I think Rimmington and Wayde. I haven't worked out the others.
