yes, there are some real ******s on gumtree
Yeah I thought it was 11 as well but was pleasantly surprised when it was PriddisI wondered how long that would last until someone grabbed it!! I thought about it but was pretty sure from the pics it wasn't a premiership players number (I actually thought from the pic it could be #11) Also, it's a pre season 06. Regular season guernseys from back then had the same sponsor front and back, but had alternating for the pre season. I think we also wore alternating sponsors for the 07 finals series?
can anybody look at these pics and help me out?
do you think its a player issue or just a normal retail?
it says it has "Number is printed into the fabric"
Thanks
100% player issue, number is spot on
cheers much appreciated!
Also era? im thinking around 2007??
If you have a look at the 2000 jumper it still had the Nike tag on the bottom of the jumper whereas the 2001 to 2006 jumpers did not have one.Earlier. I'm no Port jumper expert but the teal outline around the Nike logo got dropped for PIs after the 2004 season. So it pre-dates 2005, at least. Can't be a premiership year jumper because the number on your picture isn't bold and they were made bold at the start of the 2004 season. Compare using the pic of Josh Carr below.
It could conceivably be any of these:
Josh Carr 2003
Josh Carr 2002:
Brayden Lyle 2001: (no pics that feature him but you get the idea)
Brayden Lyle 2000: (again, picture doesn't include him but you get the idea)
Based on the position of the Scott's logo in your pic, it probably puts it as either 2000 or 2001 – it was higher up for 02/03. The differences between those two years are probably very minor, hell, they might have even used the same guernseys. But I do know that a lot of 2000 merchandise still featured the old AFL on-field logo on the tag as it was really a period of transition. Therefore based on the evidence, my best educated guess is that you have a 2001 #9 Brayden Lyle PI
wow great eye guys!!
thanks for that! looking at that id defs say an 02 - 03
thanks again!
Why would you say that?
Pretty clear it's not 02/03 from the location of the Scott's logo (as per Gibbsy).
Has no Nike logo jock tag (as per eza316) so not 00.
That leaves 01 Braden Lyle - and I think you'd be surprised what sizes people wore back in the day (coming off the baggy fits of the late 90s).

Seems to me that this jumper has very similar spikes/slashes/whatever they're called on the sides and the bottom one finishes right on the hem - indicating the same length jumper (I'm no expert on port, but I do size Crows jumpers based on hoops and jock tag locations).
My money is on 2001 Braden Lyle.
Pics posted for sunny64I have a Norwood state 1920-1935 lace up & a Norwood lace up (same time) club Guernsey. Are these of any value
It would be great for the club to have them but it would take the club buying them at market value, which in my opinion is fair.where did the guernsey,s end up as she was going to sell them to the norwood football club
