I think Yze would play him back. Where is it said otherwise?

I reckon the point of Kosi was to pair him with Lynch and allow us to keep Balta and Gibcus as defenders.

The poll suggests @ 25% want him as a forward there is always a percentage who will fall in such a cohort of supporters

Balta could be an OK forward as a second or most likely third string player but not a key as has been clearly proven.

Balta is a premiership defender and elite at monstering the oppos big gorillas very few in the league have that ability to push the very best big boys around.

For the 25% a sliver lining not all was lost wasting many weeks with Balta up forward the failed experimental stints would have given Noah some insight in forward play that will help him be a better defender.

Our backs are carefully expressing the fact that they love having Balta as the general down back without treading on the coaches toes. Speaks volumes.

I hope we never see him in the FL again. I wanted to see if YZE was a genius and to see if it was possible, but it was obvious pretty early that it was a failed mission. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not , but he was moved down back straight after the rumour came out that certain senior players were pissed off with game plan and a few tweaks.

The way we used Balta yesterday on King needs to be his permanent role.

Put him on the oppo's best key forward. He's got the strength to hold his own one on one, and is very good at getting off his opponent for the intercept.

Build the whole backline around him and never start him forward ever again.
