Mine was when I woke up from a nightmare Sunday morning and Essendon def Hawthorn to win the 2025 Grand Final

It was another Geelong vs Sydney Grand Final.

I think I was more nervous than Lions fans during that preliminary final.

Going into 2025, it will once again be a Geelong vs Sydney Grand Final.

The AFL ,Tasmanian State Football Competition and Tasmanian Government stuffing up the new Tasmanian AFL team entry into the AFL with in fighting ,fixture's fighting and the new stadium.
Knowing the AFL they will draw the new team to play a poor drawing team on either a Saturday day or Sunday day game either 1:10pm or 4:40pm game.
Plus how long before the Launceston side of things we won’t home games at our ground against a Collingwood ,Carlton,Essendon and Richmond the Top 4 drawing clubs from Victoria as we know there’s a lot of hate between North and South down there.
Personally I would have told them all games in Hobart with a new roof stadium with pre season games in Launceston for AFL and make the AWFL side play in Launceston all games.

Mine is I'm called up to play for Collingwood in a GF and I'm at half back, and I get sucked into the play and the ball goes sailing over my head to my direct opponent...

Woken up from that one a few times.

Yep Brisbane and Hawthorn have given it a shake. Its a very proud achievement by the mighty Pues.

I've actually had a similar dream, in which Collingwood were playing in the Grand Final and I was attending. But on the Saturday morning of the game, I can't seem to get there. I can see the ground from the Yarra Parklands and the Princes Bridge, but just cannot seem to get around the obstructions and end up not being able to go to the Grand Final.

I had a similar non-related football dream once that I was on holidays in Queensland for two weeks, that it was the last day of the holiday with me to fly back home that evening but haven't done anything interesting or exciting so far. Just why I hadn't I couldn't explain, but in my dream I'm rushing around like a chook with its head cut off trying to get to all the exciting places in Brisbane and the Gold Coast with limited time, but am so disorganized that I fail to get to go anywhere and wake up feeling stressed.

As for hypothetical football nightmares mine would be:

1. Collingwood being the side against which Essendon break their long losing run of finals.
2. A Hawthorn vs. Collingwood Grand Final for the reason that the Hawks are very good at Grand Finals, while Collingwood are not very good at Grand Finals.
3. The Magpies 2023 premiership win setting of flag droughts of 32 or 20 years, or a lengthy dry spell of 13 years as was the case with 1958, 1990 and 2010.
4. The Adelaide Crows (another team I like) again failing to break through for that elusive premiership.
