North's spine is very good, it's just that Waite is 35 and Thompson 32, so if you take them out they come back to the field.

We're in a similar boat. Our spine is our strength but last year Naitanui missed the whole year and Kennedy was out for 6 games and we were middling at best.

We're middling with them and we would be middling without them though. Our midfield is the main difference between our bottom 4 of 2017 and mid-range finish of 2018.

So our defence relies on our midfield to not concede points, which is also shit.

Our list is clearly better than you can understand.

I wonder if there are any North fans on BF without a chip on their shoulder. A random punter doesn't rate their list and the membership base does its f**kin' narna. North are playing well - enjoy it!

How dare people have a healthy debate on a forum.

If I posted a thread stating how shit Essendon were you'd all be in their crying.

Also, the new animated foxtel ad for footy calls is pretty great.

"give us the shotgun"
Tucked in the pocket, banana, checkside! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT?

I dont like 18 teams.
I dont like all the teams in Melbourne.
I would ditch GWS and GC immediately
Move to North to become the Canberra Kangaroos.
Move the Saints to Tassie somehow.

Players today on average are too unselfish. Always playing the percentages and taking the safe options rather than pulling the trigger and backing themselves in.

Great for the team but we lose a little flare as far as the spectacle goes.

The few who do get labelled “hungry”, “hero”, “selfish”, “spud” and so on.

Nathan Broad should have had no case to answer for the photo 'scandal' last season. It was a complete PC stunt as far as I was concerned. The photo never showed the girls face, so I never understood why her privacy was supposedly breached.
This also isn't a victim blaming situation. Adults can do whatever the bloody hell they want with their phone cameras. Probably a bit rough for Broad to send the photo after she told him not to, but for that to result in the media circus and a suspension? Absolutely ridiculous.

A random punter posts on a footy discussion forum about North and North supporters want to discuss that post and the flawed logic? Yeah what morons we are.

Often I don't even think it is great for the team. We see messed up certain goals quite often because players want to do the `team` thing and add another 2 or 3 disposals to what should be a certain goal. Or players mark 40 out, walk back on their mark and hand it to some 55 out...Cox on Friday night did this, resulted in a rushed kick, and Daniher took a towering mark on the edge of the goalsquare and passed off v the Dogs earlier in the season. Ridiculously silly play in the name of being unselfish

This is why people like you are no where to be seen in high level positions.

Besides the fact that what he did was illegal. It’s against the law to send photos of someone without their consent.

That's another thing. People in the media like to try and make themselves sound smart by putting too much stock talking about "team play" and "defense" even though deep down they want the game to be more free flowing and attacking.

That sounds like a case to answer for...

What gets me stuffed stuffed is that when the roles are reversed with Dane Swan, he (the victim) is named quickly but she cops nothing, even after trying to sell it. Absolute joke.

Players who get criticized don't get praised and recognized enough when they bounce back. There's a lot of attention when they're not going so well but that isn't matched when they turn it around. Example Josh Kennedy.
