Trade or Delist?

His contract expires at the end of next season, but I'm sure The Club and Rowe can come to an agreement of sort.

He was absolutely hopeless yesterday.
Does anyone assume he's playing in the wrong era for a conclusive wingman?

I have been a fan of Rowe for a long time and this year we should have seen him emerge at AFL level but he just hasn't been able to cut it. If we get rid of him I'd be disappointed as I think we should honour his contract. Having said that, I would understand such a decision as it appears that Thomas and Pendlebury have already taken the spots that Rowe should have this season.

i think rowe has enough ability to make it but his intensity is woeful. He needs a change and If I was another club and had any interest I would offer a pick of 40-50 and I reckon we would take it. At that price he would be worth a punt. We won't get much for him

He just doesn't get consistent games. This year he has played in Round 11 and 21. Last year he played 16 games.

In 2005 he averaged 11.6 disposals (9.5 this year), 4.6 marks (3 this year) laid 24 tackles (1) and kicked 8 goals (0). He just needs time on the park.

Be realistic guys, the bloke isnt up to it... Not everyone we draft is going to work out and Rowe is one of them.

Trade him and move on.

We should try hard to get a trade this trade week. I'd be surprised if he wasn't delisted after this season if we can't convince someone to take him. Another season where he doesn't make it will finish him as a trade prospect.

And he's suffered serious OP. Heath Shaw struggled last year, despite a few good games late. Swan has shown improvement happens.

The way I see it, thhere are blokes who look better than VFL level at VFL level, and Rowe is one of them. If we're wielding the scapel, there's a few I'd slice through first, based on OP and the fact that he's played better uninjured alone.

Oh, and we have a fair whack of duds and retirements to deal with before dealing with delisting third year players. We'll have to pay out Walker and Hall's contract.

Rowe should be delisted. No one in their right mind would trade for him. He is gutless and makes the wrong decisions everytime. Worst of all, he has no vision what so ever. I say dump him now or we will be playing with 21 next week. Pendelbury is a million times better!!!!
