What will you do when Tambling tears your team apart?

Great game by Tambling today, you just get the feeling that he just needs to scratch together a few good performances and he could be a real find for the Tigers.

Richmond played well tonight, not just Tambling, but a few of them showed some much needed ticker tonight :thumbsu:

The key is to back up a good performance against Freo with an equally good performance against the Dogs, a 10 goal+ win away against a WA club isnt easily achieved

Tambling has been tearing our team apart since we drafted him. What do I do? Cringe on the odd occassion that he gets the ball because he shows as much surprise as the rest of us and then sets about turning it over.

BRISBANE!!!

How did it feel to see Richard Tambling tear your team apart!!!

Bling Bling was awarded BOG in a tight matchwinning performance.

Benny was right.

Suck shit everyone, Tambling is a gun afterall.

Off-field he has generated several million dollars for our club already due to his work in the NT. Now he's playing better than someone else from his draft :thumbsu:

The question has become: which team will he tear apart next?

Someone is getting a bit excited......

Watching the game it looks like T.V has told Tamborine man to back himself in and take on the opposition, he did that, and got caught a few times, but overall he played a blinder for his usual standard of game. It is blindingly obvious that he lacks the skill or finesse of Judd, Kerr, Ablett, and those type of players, but you certainly couldn't question his work rate or his tenacity. He will turn out to be a valuable asset to the Tigers, he wont be a superstar, but he will be more than servicable.....

Carlton, Fremantle, Brisbane. And 1 quarter vs West Coast.

In almost 80 games of footy that is the amount of times Tambling has "torn a team apart".

I know it is Tambling bashing season but this is a Bay 13 beauty and a Benny Furs classic.

I will be thinking that it's fortunate that Richard Tambling played enough games for his son to be drafted by the Tigers under the father/son rule, and the great Game by Dick Tambling Jnr finally made up for the shiezen Drafting blunder they made. Take that buddy!! haha

He tore up a team on Monday, except it was his own.
Did you notice that after half-time we didn't even bother manning him up? The couple of times they kicked it to him, he either fumbled it or turned it over.

I actually feel sorry for the kid. l He didn't know he wouldn't cut it in the big leagues, but he's still good enough to get a game for Richmond because nobody else there can use the ball that well either.

At least he is getting paid.

Hilarious. I remember when this was first posted.

I expect a stream of other Richmond posts to emerge, such as:

What are you going to do when Schultz kicks 10 straight?

What are you going to do when Bowden gets the hard ball?

What are you going to do when JON gets 30 touches?

A turnover under no physical pressure I believe.
Post of the highest quality. I laughed out loud :D

I really hope this term catches on: "Melbourne have had far too many Tamblings this quarter, its really hurting them."

It could actually catch on; I had a friendly Richmond supporter repeat my cry of "You're awesome, Tambling" after a turnover in the 3rd quarter on Monday, so it is a catchy name.

On a side note, I felt genuinely sorry for his boy. Apparently the week before he looked forlorny up to his dad, and sadly said "dad, we always lose".

It takes true commitment to be a Tiger fan. I hope the kid wins tattslotto or something.

people forcing their kids to follow richmond should be charged with child abuse. poor kiddies will never get over it, probably end up being bed wetting adults with bedrooms in their parents homes converted into train set rooms.

curlier than a catoggio pube

i will put money on tambling getting hte most disposals against freo
we always seem to brng out the best in opposition players

You'll win then. 20 Tambling disposals = 15 turnovers
(although we only have 4 games out of 80 to base this on, as he rarely gets the ball this many times).

Maybe he should match up on Rhys Palmer - Clanger vs Clanger, mano e mano.
