FFC came out and took a stance against Carlton's bullying tactics?

What are your opinions if the club actually came out and said to Carlton: "Give us your first pick (or at least something better than 24), or Good Luck picking up Warnock in the PSD"?

Maybe it's just my immense hate for carlton, but I think I would support it if I was a Frematle supporter, but, I haven't been put into that position so I can't say.

Your thoughts?

I reckon Freo are approaching this trade week wrong re Warnock. It's obvious Carlton don't want to play the game...so we really need to be getting in Warnock's ear & saying we're not willing to trade with Carlton...either take your chances with draft & you may end up anywhere OR we're trading you to play with your brother at Melbourne for Pick 17. Carlton can get stuffed as far as I'm concerned - so can the so-called mediators should it come to that...& more than anything so can Warnock!!!

Just the usual ducks and drakes from Carlton, and we're obviously sticking to our guns by saying that he's worth more than a 2nd rounder. Either they trade one of their best 22 to another club for a 2nd rounder to then pass onto us, or a player of our choosing to us.
Melbourne would be sitting idly by and I'm sure we'll hear from the media that they've come in with some 11th hour bid to trump Carlton, which we know is coming.

Don't forget this whole "mediation" bollocks came from Warnock's manager, not the AFL/us/Carlton. He's just upset coz he thinks he's hot shit, but forgets that the clubs are above manager bully tactics, especially now that we've got a whole new set of boys (Rosich/Bond/Harvey) in there to steer the ship. WE name the price, not the manager.

Young and his recent antics (Hayden - FFS?) makes him as big a knob as Nixon is.

I think that's exactly what we have done, hence the reason Colin Young has flown to Melbourne today to try to sort it out. Warnock would have been told, and he then rang his manager.

Yeh I just saw a clip with his manager on the news. He said that Carlton was offering pick 24 and that as about right....... Of course he would say that. Cos if freo accept pick 24 his client gets what he wants.

I'm sure he wouldn't be singing that tune in contract talks trying to get his client more $$$$
