What year will the blues and the tigers make finals?

carlton won't be in any of those finals campaigns, neither will richmond.

Blues vs Tigers to play off in the 2009 GF
Can't see why Carlton and Richmond can't make the Finals this year there only seems to be two top consistent teams Hawthorn and Geelong, you could throw a blanket over the rest.

sorry, this a thread on richmond and carlton, not west coast or fremantle. i see how you mixed them up a bit.

Well it's certain one of them will take your spot. The chief commentators are now saying collingwood will struggle to make the 8 let alone top 4 this year. I saw your reserves live on the weekend and let me tell you there's nothing there to get excited about. It's a bottom side. Smashed 4 weeks in a row now.
richmond i think are better than the blues, better midfield and forward line. both defence's are dodgy but the tigs have the upper hand there.
i also see a lot more in the tigers young players (18-20 year olds), and some of the guys that i never rated (e.g. white) have really stepped up to take their game to a new level.
i think both wont make it this year, i fear richmond might finish 9th again. next year richmond will finish about 6th.
